Not that my opinion matters to anyone else here but I am against all console exclusivity. I want everyone to be able to play any game they wish on whatever device they choose to. The more people that get to enjoy the games I love and even hate the better. All exclusives are and those who defend it are doing is gatekeeping, and to tell someone "If you want to play this one game just go buy the console." Is a colossal waste of money. With no exclusives it would in my opinion force these companies to put more thought and creativity into their consoles to stand out above the rest and encourage people to buy their console instead of the competition, instead of just relying on exclusive games made by devs who sometimes aren't even a part of the company. I say all of this as someone who owns all the hardware to play new games. Frankly I would prefer to just have a one device plays all instead of needing a Nintendo, XBox, PlayStation, & PC just to enjoy all the games. At the rate it is going though PC is going to be exactly what I want with XBox and PlayStation porting games over, all that is needed is Nintendo to start and than Bye Bye consoles for me.

Sony had their chance, they instead made Bugtil Dawn Demastered and Concord (who remembers that trash existed?). PS glazers are free to go back to play on their 30FPS instead of crying

I beat bloodborne on shadps4 and it was my first time ever playing the game because I don't own a ps4 and have never cared to, I like the freedom that I have with pc and emulation is cool. I get to play bloodborne at 60fps which is WAY more smooth and responsive, the game looks great on pc especially at higher than native resolutions, also there are graphics mods like dynamic shadows which obviously make the game look better. These console fan boys are stupid. I can buy the game legitimately and just dump it onto my pc.

I just don't understand Sony at this point. They put Zero Dawn and 2018's GOW on GoG but then suddenly changed their mind and made Psn a requirement, removing the ability to put the games on that store.

thanks for making this video. i think, sony is still planning (maybe even actively making) or at least maintaining the possibility of a multiplayer horizon forbidden west experience hence the updated PSN account requirement. just want to add that some people believe that the region-locks are because these countries' laws restrict PSN adoption. i find that hard (and there is no official statement from sony about it) to believe since almost all streaming and digital good services are available in almost every country yet sony is the only company that has such a wide range of restricted regions. to my knowledge, the bare requirement for online account creation and digital good/services purchase is if a country supports international credit card transactions. although its confirmed that countries like vietnam and pakistan have very strict restrictions for international digital media but a vast majority of governments do not share the same restrictions. its just baffling why sony would do this, maybe their upper management are using 4D chess-type business strategies, maybe they want the PSN experience to have some kind of aura or "exclusivity" around it (therefore inflating its "worth"), or maybe they just dont need more money. i just hope gamers/consumers realize how bad this is and a vast majority agree to ask sony to stop being such giant dorks.

They're obviously doing this so they have a way to track monthly active users from other platforms so they can report it to investors. Sucks this is how it goes

I’m completely satisfied with it on ps4. It plays good enough for me. I have over 600hrs on it and revisit yharnam yearly. I personally don’t give a shit what any of you do. I have a pc a ps5 and a switch. Nothing stops me from playing games I want to play. Definitely not going to whine about it.

It's like Sony is ACTIVELY trying to ruin their relationship with gamers. Sony is way ahead in console sales, at least against the Xbox S/X, but yet keeps shooting itself in the foot with unforced errors. Wasting hundreds of millions on several Live Service games, most of which have been cancelled, with only one being a success. And even then they tried to screw things over with Helldivers 2. Let alone their biggest failure in Concord. Then not learning their lesson again with PSN and their fallout with the Helldivers 2 situation. Then also doing unnecessary remakes and remasters for games still playable and working from a generation ago (Horizon , Last of Us 1 & 2, etc...) just to sell it to us again by removing the original games from sale from their and other storefronts. Then trying to sell us a pro console that's only slightly better than the launch models only to over charge people extra for a stand and disc drive. And in recent news, Sony plans on discontinuing/phasing out physical disc for Blu-ray in the near future. If you thought you owned your games before, now Sony will have practically total control of your library of games.

AT THE START* why did you had to mess it up halve way in the video. its regions where its not available not countries. there are places in America, the netherlands, france or other countries with remote places (like the Carribean) where they dont want you as a customer whilst they support the mainland of that country. if it was just limited by countries it would make sense atleast like they dont want to deal with the government of that country and theyd might have to to support that country.
