Man I love my gen 1 panamera turbo, it does EVERYTHING well. My issue with the new car, I can't justify the price. My car was 152k which was alot, so how can you justify another 30k on the price porsche? Anyway great video Joe, will you be at TX2k?

Having driven this and an E63, I would say the M5 is the one to beat- but am reserving judgment till it’s formal release. The Porsche feels so big and heavy, a bit so with the Benz but it’s more a luxury car that’s crazy competent.

That is not a hatchback, a Mercedes A45 AMG is a hatchback. That is a Shooting Brake or a Wagon. The E63s is a way better choice. Stay tuned for tomorrow when AMG unveils their new model, if you want something lighter and more sporty

I'd go with the panamera any day, the proportion of the rear of the hatchback just seems weird to me, like it doesnt really exclude that sense of smooth flow from the front of the car, the panamera has amazing vibe to it.

Why did you spec it with carbon ceramics then? Carbon ceramics are for track use, and only work 100% when they are up to temperature.

The Porsche Panamera, as it is in this video, is worth the money. In my research in Porsche, they take a great deal of time in making the best super sports cars. I would go into detail, but for the purpose of this comment, I’ll simply say just that.

I’m a huge Porsche fan and have owned a 2012 Panamera 4S in the past - this Turbo is not worth $180k, it depreciates very fast but you can pick one up CPO in a couple years for $120-130k which is more reasonable.

Is the Panamera Turbo and Turbo S E-Hybrid a competitor with an E Class or an S Class? I really like the look of the Sport Turismo. If I was judging the two cars based off their performance specs I would favor the E-63 AMG. That said that Sport Turismo speaks to my soul, so I would pick the Porsche over the Merc and 0-60 times really don't matter to me that much. IMHO

Is the turbo model more reliable? I’ve heard the 2.9 models can have some issues. They use the same engine in the rs5 and there has been some issues with the engine

that feeling you have with mercedes brakes its because they are ceramics brake and it change brake ratio because of the heat but still your e63 can breake better than the panamare , and also corner and gear better but its the feeleng that you get its the confidence that you have on porsche that gives you the belive you can go faster on turns with that

YES..... I was wondering, with all do respect, why the hell you bought the AMG when you could have bought the Panamera Turbo???? That thing is freaking SICK! Everybody has an opinion, but the body and styling on the Porsche is so much more classy than the Mercedes. It looks like Mercedes is trying to hard, and then you have the Panamera that is coming off of the iconic 911 look. the 0.5s of the delay on acceleration is because the car's cpu need to understand that you want to go full ham, then its shifts the gear, if you use paddle shift to pre select the gear, this wont happen

E63 all day! Great content bro, I’m always looking out for your new videos. I have a request. Can you make kind of like a career video? How you started your business, how you find clients, what’s it like dealing with client requests. I think it’s sick how you found a way to create custom software and still charge upkeep fees. Making APIs is a great idea. Traditionally I see “makable” software as either a website/web-app or SaaS. Those ideas work but they either have to be really unique in order to compete and you have to kind of finesse recurring subscriptions.

180k for the panamera turbo aint that bad tbh... where i live in europe, a panamera 4s diesel costs 200k... I would say a fully speced out panamera turbo goes for something around 250k euros or even more
