And to recap The Process; they blew up a team losing in the second round of the playoffs to tank for high draft picks, had a whack of awful losing seasons, got the draft picks, built a team that at best lost in the second round of the playoffs… In the meantime the Warriors had a dynasty, the Raptors and Celtics and Lakers and Bucks and LeBron Cavs won rings, OKC and the Cavs and Memphis are legit contenders now, Miami went to the Finals twice…

@@sinsoreshippromotesconform8218 Sure, but the details don’t change the sad reality of ending up where they were. Also, let’s be honest here, star center teams have won the championship twice since The Process started, just Giannis and AD, and obviously AD also had LeBron. The NBA is now dominated by star guards and forwards, at least until Wemby determines otherwise. I can’t even remember who the center was for those Warriors titles, I am a Warriors fan.

I'm a 31 year old man this year, but remember "The Process" starting back when I was a freshman in college. Sixers had awful luck with this throughout. Fultz losing his shot and just not being that good, the Ben Simmons debacle, rookie of the year MCW just never panning out. And I totally forgot Nerlens Noel existed. Almost none of their players except Emid became keepers and he can't stay on the floor. Brutal!

This is what usually happens with bigs, either their knees or their feet cannot take the running and jumping and cutting of the NBA for very long. Everyone was talking about Wemby might end up injury prone, but it is the super thin guys like Chet and the heavier guys like Embid who seem more likely, and bigs in general are more likely but guys in the 235-245 lb range seem most durable of the bigs.

@tribalypredisposed11 күн бұрын
@ Man, you have no idea what you are talking about. Embid came back from a pretty serious broken bone in his foot requiring surgery to play in the NBA at all, had his first meniscus tear in his left knee in 2017, had a meniscus tear in the right knee in 2021, another meniscus tear in the left knee late last season, and that is not mentioning the orbital fractures and so on. A big man like that is feeling pain every step with messed up knees from meniscus tears, but he stayed in shape and played well when he could, because the man has a work ethic that would leave you crying for your mommy if you tried to work as hard.
