Having a weak schedule is one thing but consistently putting teams away in 2 qtrs of football with ease is another. Add to it with no starts as a freshman asked to go into the 2nd half of Championship game down 13-0 and threw a legendary type touchdown to WIN it all after a sack that would buckle any QBs knees. Okay, let's follow up on Skip's talking point then. Let's look beyond the Heisman to the playoffs-- who is the better QB? If Tua and Kyler were to meet in the playoffs and duel each other, who wins the game for their team? Who has "national championship" material at the QB position? In this discussion, it's very difficult to choose Kyler Murray over Tua. We've seen Tua singlehandedly win a championship for his team already; we've seen Alabama own the championship game; and we've also seen two decades worth of Chokelahoma in the BCS & CFP. We've seen potent Oklahoma offenses with Heisman trophy QBs lose to SEC teams, oddly enough. Jason White lost to Saban & LSU in 2003; Sam Bradford lost to Florida in 2008; and Baker Mayfield lost to Georgia last year. Like I said, a lot of Chokelahoma. As prolific as Kyler Murray has been so far at OU this year, in 2018, I still can't completely erase from my memory the images of Kyler Murray getting rattled and physically dominated by Alabama & other SEC defenses in 2016 back when he was at Texas A&M. I still remember a little guy having his passes swatted down & needing to be scraped off the field with a spatula after getting sacked or tattooed when he took off and ran the ball himself. I'm not saying Alabama is flawless and invulnerable. I'm not saying Oklahoma is incapable of ever winning another championship. But as of today, October 3rd 2018, it's difficult to envision Kyler Murray & Oklahoma being the group who finally destroys the new & improved Alabama Death Star in the CFP Championship Game.

No. This is not a question of nationality which with him being born and raised in Hawaii makes him American. Many Samoans are born and raised in Hawaii and Tua is one of them. A full-blood Samoan. On that note, when people say Hawaii football players representing well there's a good chance they are including ethnic background in that statement. You know like how announcers say Hawaiian football player this or the flying hawaiian?
