I play in the band too and I spent my money in Marshall's stacks and Gibson Guitars too 😂👍🏼 this is the first thing you see before a bands start to playing. Oh Marshall's stacks and Gibson Guitars that's it. That's the reason why I want to have minimum 2x Marshall Fullstacks for my band and the other guitarist too.

First time I saw this band they were opening for Rose Tattoo and Motorhead. They absolutely stole the show. Pretty tough gig with those other legendary bands, but they really proved themselves that night.

I really don't get why Marshall doesn't make a Dave Murray signature Jcm800 with more gain and efx loop since Iron Maiden were the very first using this series and launching the trend for heavy metal bands. They should pair the head with with a g1265 loaded straight cab to aim the Piece of mind tone. @MARSHALL WAKE UP!!!! YOU DON'T EVEN IMAGINE HOW MAIDEN FANATICS LIKE ME ARE OUT THERE!
@TheNocturnalEvil3 жыл бұрын
Neither Dave Murray nor Adrian Smith ever used the JCM800 series of amps. All old Iron Maiden albums were recorded on 50-watt JMP 1987 MkII Super Lead amps. Later albums were recorded with rack-mount Marshall JMP-1 preamps paired with rack-mount Marshall 9200 MonoBlock power amps. It was Judas Priest who started the trend of JCM800 in metal with the Screaming For Vengeance album and live tour. They used the 4 input non master volume JCM800 1959 MkII Super Lead though. The reason Marshall never made Glen Tipton or K.K. Downing signature JCM800 amps is that the 4-input non master volume JCM800 1959 MkII Super Lead amps were discontinued in 1989. The production of those amps lasted for a rather short while, from 1981 to 1989, and they haven't been re-issued yet.
@lovecraftmusic87173 жыл бұрын
@@TheNocturnalEvil much probably they used both series, depending on the availability since a 1987 jmp is the same as the Jcm800 1987. This said, even two jmp 1987 would sound different from each other.
@TheNocturnalEvil3 жыл бұрын
@@lovecraftmusic8717 That's just your speculation mate. There are no pictures of Dave Murray or Adrian Smith using the JCM800 1987.
@lovecraftmusic87173 жыл бұрын
@@TheNocturnalEvil right about the pics, but aren't the jmp and the Jcm800 the same fucking thing? Or is this speculation too? Marshall should make a signature Murray amp, jmp or Jcm800... You'll get virtually the same exact tone.
@TheNocturnalEvil3 жыл бұрын
@@lovecraftmusic8717 JMP and JCM800 are two different series of amps. There are even two different kinds of JCM800 amps. One kind was the ones with two inputs and master volume, while others kind was with 4 inputs and no master volume. JMP series amps were brighter than the JCM800 series amps. So, no unlike what you believe they don't sound the same.

@Scalamander4 жыл бұрын
He does use Marshall. He blends multiple amps into a "Scotch Whiskey Blend". His main amp is that JMP, along with a Peavy Butcher.
@TheNocturnalEvil3 жыл бұрын
Peavey Butcher is basically a hot rodded JCM800. His Wizard amps are just boutique Marshall clones with minor improvements. So, technically they play Marshall based amps.
