I have 2 of these and enjoy them, everytime that I plug in, and they are Master modded.

I love this amp. Though I use it for heavy metal and stoner rock stuff. I guess it’s great for all styles of music lol
@sleepdeep3053 күн бұрын
Never thought it as much of a funk amp, but very cool sound nonetheless

I diasgree, throw a nice preamp and you have instant funky tones.

Dirt from the 800 hands down. Silver jubilee cleans tho
@albertasani45694 күн бұрын
Use the black ones if you wear spandex and perm your hair. Grey is for men who don’t dress like women. Jubilee is way less harsh in the 2k- 4k range. Much better overall rock and roll sound.

I have the Origin 20 and to me this is the most transparent attenuation method that I've tried! I literally cannot detect any degradation of tone!!! The problem - 0.5 watts is still too loud if you're living in a flat. I would love much higher levels of attenuation, something like 0.1 watts on mid level and 0.01 watts on low setting!
@221b-l3t2 күн бұрын
You can try a cheap attenuator and only use it a little. Get most of the volume reduction from the scaling and then the rest with the load box. They tend to sound better if you don't attenuate too much.

I have the JCM2000 DSL100 amp, a 1960 Lead angle cab and a JCM800 straight cab. Wouldn't dare think of trading them for anything else. Jim set the Marshall standard. I just try to live up to it...Great vid, Marshall staff. Thank you, Jim, for following your heart.

With all those pedals, how can we know the native sound of the amp??
@yrmthr10 күн бұрын
There's plenty of videos online showcasing the "native" sound of a Marshall. The cool thing about Marshall's is that they are so versatile. You can plant & stage many effects in front or behind the amp to develop your own sound. Hence the meaning of this video

Even though I have the Origin 50, I was very impressed with how it sounds for my rig! I used to not really like Marshall as much, and then I had learned a few tips and tricks that helped me get the tones I wanted! This is groovilicious!

I’ve tried twice the 900 and just didn’t care for it distorted or clean. I’m getting JCM 800 X. Closest I could get to my 2 old 1959 SLPs. Great video. Helps me convince my wife. Thank you.

I have an AHW but man did the AV ever sound good. Maybe get myself one of those too, but then again, isn't this why the video was made by Marshall in the first place. To sell more gear? 😉 This is an excellent video for someone shopping for a cab. My order of taste is: AV AHW AX TV A
