My grandfather was grump and very tight with his money. He was not a believer. So when I heard about a father who loved the Lord and kept his family together I realize that my grandfather lacked that power to get him through. He was a father during the Depression and had 3 sons during it. His last son the fourth was born after the War ended. So I give him a break because he did what he could do with what he had.

What Luke talked of, how some born again Christians feel as if they are not recognized and/or not reaching, being a witness for Jesus Christ for those around them, BUT they are because they are seen and heard living their life’s for Jesus Christ. It brings to mind David Phelps singing “Little Is Much When God Is In It”.

When people talk about evidence for the resurrection, one thing that constantly comes up is how the disciples would have known, if anyone knew, if Jesus didn't really rise & yet they were persecuted and killed proclaiming He was alive and He was the way...I can't help but think how their suffering, even their EXTREME suffering, were the seeds that laid some of the strongest evidence for us of the historicity of the Gospel. At the time, they just had to face their fate head on, in the power of the Holy Spirit...how could they know it would form part of the bedrock of the church for thousands of years to come? It puts suffering in a different light.

So the reasons I know God is real start with logic. I have a mother and a father. You have a mother and a father as well. They have/had a mother and a father. We all have a mother and father. At some point there had to be a first person, we'll call him Adam and we'll very cleverly call his wife the first woman Eve...I know how do I come up with this stuff. Now, science says the cradle of civilization started either in Mesopotamia and/or Egypt and the North African area. The Bible says as much. Science decided to name our closest common male ancestor Y-Chromosome Adam...clever aren't they. They named our closest female ancestor Mitochondrial Eve. Again, just clever. Now they say that their Eve lived a bit before their Adam and they are right. The closest male ancestor we all(every last human on the planet today) share is actually Noah, who along with the three sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth who all have their father's DNA are the closest males while Noah's three sons had three wives who probably were not related to one another or if they were are distant enough to not share a great amount of DNA therefore you have to go back before the flood to find the closest female ancestor. Sorry I got side tracked but we all have fathers and mothers except the first humans who were created. They had to be. Science wants you to believe that a homo erect male and a homo erect female evolved in similar evolutions dozens if not hundreds of times to create every ethnicity we see today and some that are now extinct for different reasons. The Bible says God changed them and their speech during the tower of Babel and scattered them across all the world. The reason there are bears on nearly every continent that look different from one another for example is that there was one type before God changed everything and scattered man. Now science wants you to believe that this happened over time hundreds of times and that man grouped into appearance and wondered across ice bridges thousands of miles. Today I drove 300 miles and I'm beat. As far as the continental drift theory, the Bible says In the Beginning the Earth was void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. So the Earth was covered in water and God called for and the land rose up. Here's why the Earth looks like it should go together, because it once was together under miles of water. There was a solid sphere of land under the water but the water covered the Earth. When God called forth the land broke and rose. This is why all these continents look like they should go back together today. Even with the theory of evolution, where did the first homo erect man and woman come from. Why must there be a male and female and the seed of every creature is in itself. Anyone who plants a garden knows you don't get watermelons from cantaloupe seeds. So then there had to be a first and if their was a first then there had to be an architect who had no beginning. Science being clever again calls this a "God" particle. He's a lot more than a particle friend. God's alive. He gives life and in him we have our life. Nothing is done without his hand. If you don't believe in God you're a fool. If you believe you can identify as a unicorn good luck with that. If you think you can fly try that one time just do me a favor and don't try to fly from too high a spot. I want you alive when you realize you're wrong. Also, God put a bow in the sky as a sign he wouldn't destroy the world with water again. The bow interestingly enough is there because of water molecules at a certain angle from light. When God created light he created atmosphere Genesis 1 and this was the reason we have light here on Earth while the vacuum of space is dark and void of light unless you're looking directly toward the sun. If you stood in a room with the light off and turned on a flashlight you could see the light from that source in the room and it would light up perhaps all the room if the light is powerful enough. If you stood between the Earth and the Sun and looked you couldn't see the sunlight the way you see it here on Earth. There is no atmosphere in space to illuminate, nothing to reflect and refract the light. If you think there's no God simply consider DNA. We're all related with a common ancestor everyone on Earth shares. Through DNA we know the Jewish people can all be traced back to four women. The Bible says as much. Funny how they admit that carbon dating isn't accurate and yet they say these women lived a long time before Jacob would have lived according to the Bible. Every chance to discredit that book because they know if God is then God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and he's a rewarded of those who diligently seek him and if you're lukewarm he'll spew you out. God Bless and thanks for reading. Maybe next time we'll talk about God performing surgery on Adam and using methods that made Eve by exacting part of Adam's DNA with his female chromosome because of course we know now that the father has both x and y chromosomes and decides the sex of a child. All things are possible with God but making a woman from a man would have been easier than making a man from a woman without the presence of the y chromosome. This is why the miracle of Jesus' birth should be appreciated all the more. Again thanks for reading.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 “Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” Romans 3:22-24 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” Romans 10:9-11 ”Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.“ Galatians 2:16 “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:15-17 “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:28 ”For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.“ Titus 2:11-15
