I cooked a rib eye tonight. I cooked it in bacon grease. I marinated it with steak spices. When it was almost done I put some buttered mushrooms on top and then 2 slices of swiss cheese. I let the cheese melt. Best steak I have ever cooked. You should try it some time when you are at home.

Fry Bread traditionally is a dough made from flour, water, baking powder, salt and lard. Then that dough is rolled out in sheets, cut, and then deep fried. In Taos, Pueblo in New Mexico, it's called Indian Fry Bread, which are are basically Sopapillas.

I learned about fry bread from the movie smoke signals and I had to try it because it sounded so good, and once i had it it did not disappoint. FRY BREAD IS SO FRIGGING GOOD!!!

The fry bread is well known here in South Africa. Made from grandma's bread dough. Fantastic with grandma's home made butter and syrup while it is still hot. We call it 'vetkoek'.

Yes but that was 96 oz. Btw fun fact John Candy ate two of those steaks. The Babe Blue Ox steak Might have been in Germany but a restaurant offered a steak over 128 oz. 8 lbs. Most cost about a thousand dollars. Dry aged 90 days properly dry rubbed . Vs hey here's a side of beef cooked in a broiler. Butchered on Tuesday.

Super cool Joel was in Caldwell Idaho, I live here as well and one of the first things we did when we moved here YEARS ago was go to Indian creak and it was awesome……. You should definitely come out again to see winter wonderland during Christmas time with all of the lights and the ice rink and music and amazing people it’s definitely an experience💯💯🫶🏼♥️

I gotta call it like I see it. Joel had to chew way too much in this one and if you have to repeatedly add that much salt to a steak it either hasn’t been marinated or rubbed or cooked right. He’s had way better steaks than this.

Was really just trying to say it didn’t look like he was enjoying this one very much. When Joel takes a first bite and kinda does the shoulder shrug it wasn’t a real good one.

The fried bread is great growing up my mother made bread at least once a wk ,5-7 loves and kept some dough out for my father to fry I loved it and the next morning toast it up and put peanut butter and jelly on it --loved that more than fresh

The bread was Navajo Frybread, very good. Usually served layered with refried beans, ground meat, lettuce, and tomato, sort of like a taco, but not folded. It's also called Indian taco, when served with the layers.

I like to sprinkle Lea & Perrins onto meat when cooking it. I find It adds a really nice taste that other sauces just can't duplicate. I miss it sometimes if I forgot it lol.
