I like his framing of Geburah as motion because it makes sense. Classically, Traditionally, it’s power, God’s will exerted as a definite act, possibly destructive. It’s juxtaposed to the very inert but safe Chesed. It makes sense to call it a sort of applied energy, and that’s relevant to tarot because just look at the 5s. They’re all kind of energy, disrupting that which dares to be still.
