I am very gratefull with God for allowing me to join in the live stream and even better, to able to see and listen again to this wonderfull music played by one of todays best guitarist. As i mentioned in the live stream, today i went in joe's website, and since i prefer CD format and one time i tried to buy in amazon but no CDs available, but in Joe's website all his CDs are available (thats so great), so once in the page i not only bought the Christmass Cd, but went ahead and bought all his Cds, which i, wish you and Genevieve the Best and Many Blessings to you all. I really, really enjoy your music playing and singing on your own songs and also covers redefined...keep up the great effort and great musicianship...

Actually just putting together an instrumental Christmas album in DADGAD but I am finding that most of the songs are outside the PD (public domain) and as you probably know you must purchase a publishing license from EasySong (CDbaby) for around $20 USD per song. Any way around this Joe or should I just suck it up and pay? Cheers! 🍻

Hi Tom, you need to do this if you want to physically manufacture an album with copyrighted material, but for distributing music on streaming platforms you would get the cover license through whichever digital distributor you choose. ie Distrokid or Tunecore. For KZbin, they handle the copyright and pay the songs publisher from any revenue the video makes. Good luck with the album!
