I did ayahuasca deep in the Amazon jungle. They tell you to ask mother ayahuasca for something before you drink it. I asked for greater patience and understanding. During the experience I crossed over to a place where there was nothing physical. I was terrified because I couldn’t find my body. I thought I was dead. Then a voice came to me and said “don’t worry you are visiting me in my home”. The voice was so comforting that it immediately calmed me down. We then revisited my life and how I could have responded differently to people and situations. When the shaman woke me up after 3 hours I felt my consciousness renter my body. It felt like a whooosh. It was the most amazing experience and has changed me forever

@@hoover133 I had a similar experience when I was a freshman in college, back in 2003. I had only ever smoked pot and drank, other than some prescription pills. A friend of mine got a little over an ounce of mushrooms, and our group of friends divided it among the eight of us. The friend who got it said that he and I should split the extra gram between us, so we each had 4 grams. I don't know why I expected it to be something similar to smoking pot... I did Ayahuasca recently at the place highlighted in the Netflix show Unwell. It was a life changing experience. I woke up and all my hate and anger was replaced by a love for and connection to the earth. It made me realize that everyone on earth is a reflection of all the sadness and hurt that was done to them. That all people deserve compassion and love. The memories that caused my anger that were once at the forefront of my mind were now distant and impossible to retrieve. I watched my organic material melt from my bones and sink into the earth. From it a well of life sprang from the soil and I realized that all I am meant to do on Earth is to give life.

I just got back from a ayahuasca retreat in Iquitos Peru. For the 4th ceremony I drank a big cup (6oz) another dimension opened up and my soul was loaded onto a vessel. I was being overloaded with information and emotions during the come up but at the peak the vessel brought me to heaven ans I saw my fathers soul and was filled with so much love and happiness it's is impossible to explain. I was in the afterlife and knew could see this is where we come from and this is where we will return when our human life is over. It was so beautiful there I would have traded everything I have to stay there for just another moment. I could hear the birds mating calls in the jungle 100 of yards away but in the pitch black I could see their calls echoing through the forest like vivid ripples in the water. Ayahuasca forces you to see things that are to difficult for you to deal with you locked it away, it resurfaces all the negative emotions and energy and makes you solve it. In that higher state of consciousness you basically pick the outcome you want and instantly your brain is rewired to think that way and believe a totally different outlook that you would have ever thought possible. I also puked 4 or 5 times per ceremony but afterwards you feel cleansed of whatever was brought up. I went to the retreat somewhat skeptical and left knowing 100% that it is the real deal.

To heal them means to heal myself. And that was the most beautiful spiritual revelation I could get. I always knew it has something to do with my nervous system, because I was doing it while not even noticing I’m doing it. That was my drug. First thing that I experienced was the most colorful patterns. I then asked myself why am I so ungrateful. Then I heard a voice say "Your Blessed" over and over and over idk how many times but each time I heard it. It made more and more sense!!! I felt tears running down my face. At first i started to feel bad for not being a better son, brother, relative, friend. But as I kept hearing your blessed I started to smile. I just remember saying to myself You are blessed. Which at that point it gave me a beautiful feeling of love and I felt comfort within my consciousness. Then I took control of my experience and thought of the one thing I've always wanted to ask God. I asked "when we die are we gonna fly and see the universe?" I've always hoped God would give us the chance to after death. Which at that point I literally left my body and was with the stars!!! I said thank you for allowing me to see that we don't have to die to be with the stars because obviously I'm not dead. Most beautiful experience I've ever had. I can't wait to go back. LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole outlook on life. I became a better version of myself This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body. A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. I wanted to comment how fantastic rapé is and of course tobacco is considered a master plant teacher. I remember one aya ceremony were they gave rapé just before drinking aya (not uncommon) and it put me into silence, a palpable silence. This really grounded me and went on for hours and assisted me coping with the intensity of the aya and was so helpful. The next day around the sharing circle we all pulled a divination card and I nearly fell over when I pulled the card - Silence. It had just been so profound and changed my life for the better forever, it took about two weeks to process the change though and had been extremely challenging.

I've always really wanted to try Ayahuasca. I've had a similar experience to Mr. Brennan's story, without the use of hallucinogens. I was closing my eyes pretending to be asleep when a roommate walked in, because I didn't want to have to deal with them, as we were fighting. After a few minutes of breathing deep and closing my eyes, I entered into a state of awareness that was highly unusual for me. I felt this intense love coming from somewhere, I couldn't pinpoint it. It was so strong, and it loved me so much no matter what, that I just broke down and wept. It felt like just coming home after being away forever. Certainly this feeling couldn't be coming from me, I've never been one to love myself, and have never been back to that state of being no matter how often, or how hard I try. That experience changed who I was. I knew for a fact that god lives within us all, and we are all just a greater expression of god experiencing this reality.

I had a very similar experience on 12 grams of mushrooms, 6 grams eatin, 6 grams in a tea.. Happened about 4 years ago and just hearing other peoples experience to this day is one of the best feelings. It’s like reliving your experience through another person perspective with alil personal twist .

12 grams!?!? 😂 That’s outrageous. How was at its apex if you don’t mind sharing? I did 4 and I think my absolute upper limit would be 6. 12 is unthinkable to me haha
@maddenApollo2 жыл бұрын
@@MadCatMattYT I did progressive increments over the span of like 2 years .. once every 6 months I’d do alil more & that was the plan I had after my first experience. My first experience I couldn’t tell you how much it was, about a quarter palm full maybe like 3-4 grams given to me by someone I didn’t particularly trust but they were free and I had just seen research talking about how safe they actually was. So I did them and had an experience where I seen what looked like “aura” or just a slight bit of light surrounding everything that was sentient .. then I could hear the trees making a noise the more I focused on them the more I could kind of hear through the static and it sounded like they were crying out for help and asking me why we don’t care that much.. but after that I went in the house to collect my thoughts and realized no matter what I did I couldn’t hold onto any thoughts and I was just going through a highway of new information .. eventually it calmed down and I talked to my friend for hours and couldn’t sleep.. Started doing extensive research and listening to other peoples experience with more of an open mind.. found a shrooms dealer and would buy in bulk because they was hard to find .. so I’d buy like 12 grams and do 4-5 grams .. wait 6 months while I process and relearn more things then the rest of bag .. then after 2 years ( 4 trips later ) I was getting comfortable with lower dosages and the experience remained beautiful and so i never had a worry about a bad trip .. One day I bought another bag of 12 grams .. and I was really getting to the point I wanted to see something I never seen before and that was the intention of the trip.. I started with 8 grams but it felt like I was already at that level before so it was really dull .. kind of like watching a movie over again after just watching it.. so I decided to drink the remaining 4grams and next thing I know I was filled with anxiety and my body starting vibrating .. I did positive affirmation to get rid of the anxiety then I was extremely silent .. so silent that the noise from being so silent started to pick up.. like a buzzing noise , and with my mind I amplified that silent ringing noise until it got so loud it went silent again then I left my body .

So by chance i went to some tantric events, went to rebirthing breahwork (“release” breathing in estonian, and a release was definitely what i was looking for), rebirthing experience, a lot of meditation (mostly i meditate on a problem or a feeling i have, a question and even get an answer or a conundrum, or “see a book” i get my answer from). had the same transformation of opinion about atheism but i took 5 grams of mushrooms, it really fucking humbles you in a way that you understand what the meaning of god is to humanity since our beginning, and that some people really need the use of a psychodelic to feel it and intuitively get it

Watched this last night while on mushrooms and 10mg of thc/cbd edibles. Neil worried me. Sounded to me like he fears losing his mind and not coming back. Podcast started out great and everything seemed fine but the last 45 minutes really concerned me about Neil’s mental state. Really interesting and vivid and i felt it at a different level than most people would I’m sure. His mind seemed to venture into borderline flashback and joe seemed very concerned for neil by the end of it. Maybe that’s what made me worry about him but joe let’s him expunged depth and then it seems joe intervenes and tries to talk him down back to a safe mental zone

In my only ceremony, I was given 4 oz. Tasted like chocolate, cinammon and dirt. It took about an hour to work, but when it hit me I went light speed to the Heavens to meet up with Horus and the star people. I am super grateful.

Wow that's an awesome experience he had. Why would anyone mock him? If that's what he experienced then so be it. Good for him. I keep hearing how taking Ayahuasca helps immensely with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I hope it's true and helps cure a lot of people

I think there’s so many positives from ayahuasca would love to one day visit a shaman and do it. I done DMT once with a friend and remember the whole feeling of leaving my body behind to venture up into space, don’t remember loads other than feeling mocked on my way up before a being basically said to me I was too early to be there. Crazy thing is my mate had the opposite experience and they acted like he was late and he had finally arrived - I later found out he was actually a still born that had been resuscitated at birth. Perhaps that place is to do with death.

Glad Neal's talking about his experience. I literally never heard of ayahuasca.
@johnjames54052 жыл бұрын
It's like the edible version of DMT. If you drink the plant containing DMT your liver destroys the DMT before it even reaches your blood. If you take a plant that deactivates that enzyme then take the DMT containing plant you will then have the experience. In most of these rituals they just boil the two plants together.
@Bonez0r2 жыл бұрын
It's the oral way to take DMT and lasts much longer (up to 12 hours I heard, never done it myself) than smoked/vaped DMT which lasts around 30-45 minutes.
@johnjames54052 жыл бұрын
@@Bonez0r exactly. It’s milder than smoked DMT obviously. Ayahuasca is like going down a river and smoked DMT is like a rocketship. With that said, anyone can make the tea at home. I don’t know why so many rich Americans pay to go to South America and do it with a “shaman.”

Yeah dude, that sacred tobacco (I don't know how to spell rah-pe) is the shit. I've done it every time it's offered. I feel like, for me, it's the warrior part of the ceremony when I try to breathe it in and not cough, just relax and let my eyes water. And keep spitting, of course. Stay hydrated, everyone! Also, I had a similar, horrifying, ego-shattering experience that seemed to, in hindsight, remove my existential fears by submerging me in the worst things my unconscious could conjure and present. Thanks, brain, nailed it! Nerd translation: Ayahuasca is the Cave of the Dark Side on Dagobah. It contains only what you take with you. Your weapons... you will not need them. Edit: How has Joe not done this already? Seriously.

My dad was a pool player and taught me, his favorite daughtet, to play when I was about 12. We hustled pool in local bars after going deer hunting in the day, on the road winning money from unknown people. Fast forward to age 50 something, my game is nothing compared to my youth. My bar has the usual small coin-op table for 8 ball mostly. Long story short, on mushrooms taking on all challengers and drinking sparsely to stay calm, I had perfect focus. It was unreal, my control over the cue ball. Perfect shots and setups. I beat 14 men and then no one would play. I could hear them talk about me a little, all amazed, but I never spoke to them or let on what was happening.
