It amazes me that the NFL guy and the guys playing the loud music took Bas' kindness for weakness. Even if they didn't recognize him, how could they not recognize that he must be some kind of badass? The little scars on and around the brow, the outta shape nose, his knuckles must have been busted loads of times, and the confidence considering the potentially explosive situation.

I think Joe is getting stun guns mixed up with tasers. Tasers are effective against any body size so long as you split the belt line and both prongs penetrate the skin. Loose clothing can prevent that and a stray prong will not produce body lockup. It just hurts a little bit.
