Vince Offer directed Bobby Lee in a film in the 90's called "The Underground Comedy Movie." In the credits Bobby Lee's character is listed as: "Chinese Man"

Poor Bobby. I’ve never seen any actor or comic who suffers from such EXTREME anxiety. It’s wild. His tics are so noticeable and consistent on this episode. I love Bobby, and it was nice to see how cognizant Joe is of Bobby’s feelings and behaviors, and how he handled that. Bobby is so humble without even trying to be, he just is. I just hope he knows how loved he really is.
@PAG111054 ай бұрын
In all reality, kind of refreshing to see a celebrity with the success that he has been having of late that is decades into the business still not jaded in any form whatsoever. He does see to have some serious personal demons that isnt surprising anyone but when you put yourself in his shoes, he's a beast in terms of putting himself out there where you can see some ppl that lack critical thinking judge him pretty harshly.
@californio18504 ай бұрын
The thing is, I think Bobby is intimidated by Rogan because he knew Rogan back when he was an aggro dude bitter about not being famous as a stand up. Also, he was in the Mencia camp when Rogan's take down occurred and I think they included a video segment taken out of context in which Bobby spoke negatively about Mencia. Also, Rogan is close friends with Ari and Brendan who he had conflict with. He still seems to have PSTD from all that.
@calistafalcontail4 ай бұрын
Oh plz. Hes a giant baby and is in a constant victim mode + unable to function like a decent person without other people wiping his butt. He is so unorganised and undisciplined that its not even funny anymore and the people who have to work with him (Bad friends podcast) let it show sometimes. His entire comedy is about "I had it so bad" or "I am so gross". At what age will he grow up? I mean a few stories like this here and there are nice but its his entire thing.

He tries to make it sound all evil and sinister but I bet they were laughing and joking about the gook comment and it was tears...of laughter. For, "the light", yeah, I can see it. Sure. When an actor utterly ignores direction and keeps looking at the camera or some chicks ass instead of where they are supposed to they're going to get yelled at. Takes cost a lot of money. Ive watched his podcast and while he can be very funny he has a permanent victim mentality which is weird for someone who is rich and famous.

Yeah for sure, me too. I get that Joe was trying to be lighthearted and just didn't get his perspective, but making fun of him for being triggered like that just isn't helping anyone but the soulless. I absolutely despise the culture of directors or producers being abusive for the sake of it, when so many of them produce amazing products without resorting to such ugly behavior. David Lynch comes to mind as a director who can be a bit spicy and playful with his actors, but treats them with the utmost respect and admiration. The end result is that every one of his films are a passion project not just from him, but from his cast and crew. Don't be a David O. Russell, be a David Lynch.

Yea but David lynch as a nobody would still be the perfect example of an incredible person

Its funny because you're doing the same thing that you criticize. You obviously idolize David Lynch as a director, so your opinion of him is biased and skewed. The fact of the matter is that David Lynch is no sunny day picnic. He's known to be very short-tempered and abrasive, as is David O. Russell and many other famous directors. Those guys aren't there to make sure their actors feel "respected". They have one vision which is to make a great movie. And anything that gets in their way is dealt with appropriately.
