JoesGE.com is a pretty cool place (depending who you talk to it might be more than pretty cool. But hey, I'm just writing this down so that it says something down here, because that's more professional right?) and if you're still reading along at this point you might as well sit down and grab some popcorn because this is about to trail on about how we are this premiere repair service located in Washington State North of Seattle in basically the "Armpit of the US" near Mt Baker (Mt Baker has the world record for most snowfall at 1,140 inches in a season). Even though it can smell bad around here we love the fresh air and being near the post office and in a quiet sleepy mountain town certainly gives us much closer access to Team Turtle and Team Beaver (Watch our "Who, what, when and where is JoesGE?" video if you don't get the reference).
All this to basically say that we are all addicted to coffee and stay in the warehouse for ridiculously long hours in order to keep up with the demands of the youth for these two-sided head audio devices and speakers that float when you throw them in the ocean or in your bathtub to test if they actually float. On top of that, we do like it when less stuff ends up in landfills so we hoard everything on shelves with wheels so that we pollute less, it just sits in our warehouse losing molecules slowly over time degrading to become smaller and smaller.
If you are still reading at this point you deserve an award, or a high five, or something because you must either be the most patient person on the planet, or you read blogs frequently. And if the latter is the case, then this whole thing must seem pretty short so let's keep going.

Also, if you are wondering how we keep up with the demands of the people so well, its because 90% of the people that work here are all Russian around getting things done most of the time. Thanks for the video but in my experience the megaboom speakers have problems with intermitantly cutting out when paired through their app in the party mode. The only way i can get them to not cut out as much is placing the two speakers within a foot of each other. Ive tried 4 different megabooms all manufactured in 2022 and 2023 and have used android and iphone and same bad intermitantly "cutting out" result. I've tried at other peoples houses and yards and same bad results. Ive tried resetting the speakers and using them in stereo and mom modes. I like the speakers sound and convenience but the party mode isnt reliable from my experience so i only use one speaker at a time. 😞

Hey Joe. How reliable is the Stereo Mode on this? With the JBL Charge 4's, the Stereo's so difficult to turn on, and it keeps reverting back to mono. Do you need to keep the App on for Stereo? Do you have to keep Music playing?

Does moving the additional speaker icons in the Boom app actually change the sound image of the audio? For instance, moving the speaker from left to right in the Party Up screen? Also, is stereo possible in Party Up with four speakers? Or is this just louder mono sound?

Hello James, thank you for watching our video. We have not tested stereo with multiple speakers however, you can connect up to 150 devices. From my experience, you can adjust the left and right speaker sound in the app as there should be a toggle for that. I am not sure if moving the icon will do the same. Ruslan P

I just did a 4Up configuration and I can place the icons within the app, but I don’t hear any difference in the Left and Right channel, nor do I see a way to select or toggle which channel for each speaker. It seems that it is a more elaborate Double up mono configuration instead of a quad stereo setup. UE has not replied yet...

In the video, it looks like in stereo mode you can toggle the sound from left to right speaker. We have yet to test more than two speakers with this function. Ruslan P

Thanks for this. I kept running into problems - was connected to 2 speakers from my iPhone, and 1 kept disconnecting. Your solution / explanation fixed the problem for me; > Connect to speaker 1via Bluetooth (NOT both speakers, as I previously did) ...and then activate the other via the app as a 2nd speaker through the 'party up' tab. You took away quite some frustration ;)

How is the party sound apps & ueboom speaker function? if you play music did you get surround sound? if you watch movie with a lot of ueboom did you feel like theater eg- In the movie shooting from behind the sound come from behind explode from frond the sound come from frond? Up to 50, according to the propaganda ;) Have only tried it with 2, though. (Friends keep buying the JBL speakers for some reason. (Even though this is pretty much the only speaker series that allows for notification / startup sounds to be turned OFF. Completely. Which is a big deal for me, personally... Especially when the volume is on 'LOUD AS HELL' ;))

We use the UE app. Once you have them connected you can listen to any media player like Spotify Pandora ETC.

It ist not Double Stereo, just Double. Double means, each speaker will play the mono channel. Stereo means stereo, one speaker plays the right channel, the other one the left channel.

Joe's Gaming & Electronics It wouldnt let me do party mode without updating firmware on both speakers. Now when i try to connect to a single speaker it does the connect sound then the disconnect sound over and over. Starting to think its the bluetooth on my phone. I'll have to try connecting to my pc or something. Im sure the aux port will work but wouldnt ya know it, the iphone 10 dont have a headphone jack haha. @@Joesge Yes I reset them and everything else you could possibly do. They show up on the bottom of the app but when you put your finger on them and drag them up it sets there for a couple seconds then says unable to connect or timed out. 😵‍💫😵‍💫 I even restarted my phone, deleted the app and reinstalled it, anything you could think of. They need to update the app.
