My megaboom doesn’t seem to charge. The light indicator for charging is not pulsating. Is there anyway I can charge the battery outside the speaker unit?

How do we Know when you get them in stock & will It work for my Boom3? The only element damaged are the Bent charging pins Inside. Easy solution. Found Never locate the specs For the proper type charging cord anywhere.

My PCB isn't broken but when replacing my battery, the plastic cover thar connects the PCB to the motherboard detached from the metal pins. Do you have any recommendations to fix this or is a new PCB needed?

We believe in you! In the description there is a link to all the parts and tools you will need. If you really don't feel comfortable doin the repair yourself, I'm sure you can find a place that fixes them, but I don't know of any.

So basically the charging port itself cannot be replaced and you need to change the entire board?

You can replace just the port. It is much more complex because you have to micro solder the port off, then solder a new one back on.

No need to tear the whole speaker apart and pull the whole plastic casing out Just open the top

Can these boards be made with a USB-C connection instead of the micro USD?

Yes, i did this myself because the mini USB port broken and i didnt have proper replacement. What i did was glue the USB-C port in the opening and attach it to the board with 2 wires. Fast charging doesnt work anymore if you only connect the +5V and the GND so it takes a while longer to charge. But at least i can still use it.
