Hello my kids left my megaboom outside in the rain with the gasket open. After this the thing doesn't work. Is this repairable? What could be wrong? It won't charge or turn on as far as I can tell now.

My megaboom only charges around 300ma (tested on several chargers and leads) the USB charger chargers other devices at up to 1.9A. Could it be just a bad connection/ joint?

So how would I know if my boom box needs a new port or a. NEw battery? My speaker was stolen and when I got it back it didn't work. The port look like it could be the issue but then while watching your videos found out it could be a battery. Any tips?

Stephanie, In most cases, if the charge port looks damaged then that is your issue. Batteries do go bad but damaged charge ports are more common. Also, It is quite common for the charge port board to be corroded from water damage. - Will P.

Thanks for the comment. The issue can be a charger port as most of the issues are that with the Megaboom. When you plug your charger cable in and no lights come on you can be certain that your charger port is damaged or your board may have corrosion on it.
