Shooot! Thats a bad ads set up! I hate this saying but there is really still plenty left to use at the track! I love a well built SBF. And that 427 ain't even got no crazy heads(just judging off n/a #s)! Awesome car, was it on drag week 2019?
@JoeSimpsonAtTempest3 жыл бұрын
Yea this thing can make hundreds of horsepower more! I honestly don’t know much about the history. If it has done drag week previously it would have been a totally different set up.

What plug gap did you end up with? How much boost?
@JoeSimpsonAtTempest3 жыл бұрын
I think .018 at 25lbs. Voltage was likely the real issue.

@@JoeSimpsonAtTempest 10-4. Thanks for the reply. I have a 427 sbf 10-1, 227cc highport heads, e75 and it made 1218rwhp at 27 psi. I think my timing is probably too safe. I'm at 14°. Plug gap was either 16 or 18 and was still clean.
