Hello Joe. Mine's been with me for about a year and I use it at least 4 or 5 times per week. No doubt here, the Deluxe is the best model and sometimes can be bought for less than the Breeze or the original one at Costco or HSN.

I am still using my original Creami and make about 6pints per week. I love my slushies! Someday I will upgrade, but it will take something super amazing to get me to change what already works so well for me. I love teardown videos and always wondered about the shaft getting goo inside. I have inspected mine 3 times over the life of it and it just recently passed the check again.
@JoesPhenomenal6 ай бұрын
I wonder how much of the shaft complaints are from people actually checking or just listening to something that they heard and assumed there was a wide spread problem.

I am using mine for a week now. It is just perfect. 😊 I hand wash everything IMEDIATELY after use. Everything is perfectly clean. At the beginning I was kinda sad because I don't even own a dish washer and I knew right from the beginning I will have lots of dishes. 😂😂😂 Thanks for your video. Thanks this was very informative! If only people who buy these stuff check on KZbin reviewers like you wouldn't come up with problems.. for instance the suggestion of freezing on a flat surface ..now I understand people complaining about scratching the container..
@JoesPhenomenal6 ай бұрын
Mostly, that's an educated guess. It's tough to verify exactly what people are doing when that happens, but a slope on the frozen mix could definitely do it.

the most common cause I observe for causing scratches on creami pints is that the ice cream forms into a ball inside the container while spinning, the ball then goes in circles around the shaft and pushes it to the side, scratching it, causing those huge scary vibrations where it seems like the machine is going to hop off the counter, etc the deluxe is less prone to this because everything is built a little bit more solidly, the container mounting mechanism is stronger, and there's more space on the outside between the blade and the container, so when it starts vibrating it's less likely to cause damage This whole thing is more likely to happen with a elastic/chewy, high stabilizer, high fat base.

I would suggest that Ninja should design these CREAMi devices with a way that the shaft area could be quickly disassembled so that the seal could be inspected for wear and possible replacement when necessary, as well for purposes sanitizing and deep cleaning the machine. In my opinion, all parts that could possibly come in contact with what is eaten or otherwise ingested should be accessible for purposes of deep cleaning for obvious reasons of hygiene.

8:05 Is the problem with the ice cream in the lid due to overfilling the cup? 🤔

That would definitely make that problem worse.

Could I fill 1/2 pint with one flavour, freeze it then add a different flavour on top, freeze that & blend just the top, eat it & then blend the bottom? To do 2 flavours in 1 go? I’m not sure if spinning a half full container could hurt the machine
@JoesPhenomenal3 ай бұрын
That would work fine. If it's going in a Deluxe, definitely.

A video request: I bought a Creami few days ago. I can't understand the differents between the functions. I tried to make same recipe with few functions. the results looks same if you ask me. after all its just rotating blades that going down and up. Can you please freeze water or milk cups and blend them in creami? function by function(each cup for function) including mix in and respin. Use timer, sound meter, electric power meter can be a good indicator for the diffrents between the functions. I'm sure that there are many users with same misunderstanding so this video can get a lot of views. Please use the original Creami because there is no 220 volts deluxe version.

i am unsure what to pick as the original ninja creami is really discounted rn (164 euros vs 231 euros normal price) and the deluxe is 256 euros.. the deluxe isnt worth it in that circumstance right? great video btw!

You’re supposed to be able to dishwash all the parts except the blade.
@JoesPhenomenal5 ай бұрын
Agreed. You can, but the dishwasher drying cycle can eventually turn plastics sort of a cloudy color. Had that issue with my older Ninja Foodi Processor container. Since then, I just leave them out to keep them as new looking as possible.
@PrimeMatt8 ай бұрын
I never put mine in the dishwasher either, it takes seconds to wash, so I see no need. I own a gym, and we use a high end Vita-mix blender, which is always hand washed and after 6 years it's still perfect. I don't think plastic in the dishwasher is the best idea.

You want an honest opinion... Crap. Brakes very easily! Expensive to use and run. Have to blend all the time, and it doesn't mix correctly; you get ice chunks on the side. Owned one for a period of four weeks before it broke and shredded the metal blender blade, which led to metal shavings in the ice cream. Extremely dangerous, especially if feeding it to kids. More than happy to forward anyone who wants the pictures of this, as I can't upload them to this comment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
