I have the ninja ultimate power blender system. Would I use the spread selection? And how long will this keep?
@JoesPhenomenal9 ай бұрын
Yeah.. The spread setting would be best for rhat. I usually go through mine within a week. I wouldn't go too terribly far beyond that since there aren't any preservatives added to it.

Have you tried to use this beanut butter to make a chocolate peanut butter shake in the creami

Ninja foodie blender what function would you use to make this
@JoesPhenomenalАй бұрын
If it has a single serve cup, I would just use that and be sure to pulse it a whole bunch of times to break everything up and release the oils before you blend on full.

The easiest you ever made, but how about the flavor and consistancy? It looks way soupier than what we're used to. I always like Skippy Super Chuck. Awesome flavor w/nice peanut chunks. However: Roasted peanuts, sugar, hydrogenated vegetable oil (cottonseed, soybean and rapeseed oil). I have a similar Ninja Blender, but no Blend Sense.
@JoesPhenomenal9 ай бұрын
The flavor is pretty amazing. When it comes out of the machine, it's a little warm, so it does thicken up when it gets back to room temp. If you like it more chunky, you can always just make it with slightly more nuts, and it comes out great. What I like to do is make it this way, then I add additional nuts in there and do a short manual cycle just to break them up. That way, you already have all that smooth butter to keep it all moving, and you have the new stuff making I more chunky, and thickening the whole thing as well. I love that super chunk by the way. My favorite store bought one.

@@JoesPhenomenal I really liked your video! I would like to make butter but without adding oils. I would also like to avoid toasting dried fruit. Have you ever tried? Do you have to open it several times to mix by hand or as per your video? Thanks!
@JoesPhenomenalАй бұрын
@marcobel2919 thanks for the kind words. You can do the nut butter without the extra oil, but it will tend to stick a little requiring some stirring. You can minimized that if at the beginning of the blend, you just quickly pulse the blender several times to get the nuts broken down really well before you try to fully blend it.

How much peanut butter does this recipe make?
@JoesPhenomenal2 күн бұрын
It ends up being about 2 cups at the end of the day.... To make larger amounts takes a lot more peanuts than you'd imagine.
@incimlolo36232 ай бұрын
What if I don't add any fats? Or what if I add water instead of oil if needed?
@JoesPhenomenal2 ай бұрын
You can use a tiny bit of water if you want.... If you just use larger amounts of peanuts, you can go without the oil too, as you'll have more in there to release the natural fats... When you start the blender, just pulse it a bunch of time to get everything broken up and start releasing oils, and once you have some in there, you can blend away.
@incimlolo36232 ай бұрын
@JoesPhenomenal thanks for replying my comment. I was afraid that if I added water the butter would spoil quickly.
@JoesPhenomenal2 ай бұрын
@incimlolo3623 yeah. Good point on that. The water will promote bacteria growth. You would need to keep in fridge or just go through it really fast in that case.... And who the heck wants refrigerated PB?

Would you recommend this blender over the Ninja Foodi ultimate power blender system in terms of making nut butter? I like the versatility on this one since the XL (processor) doesn’t’ blend nut butter too well. However it comes with the foodi processor which is great for nut butter. Also can you make nut butter with the other of blenders instead of just the processor on this one (TB401)?

Hi. I did a comparison between the 2 systems right here if it helps: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZpbRdYughpqaaLs. I like the detect. It's more powerful, however, it is louder than the ultimate system by a little bit, too. I personally like making the nut butters in the single server cup more than the processor bowls. It's less space in there so it's easier to deal with, and you don't have to make as much. The preset for the butters only works on that larger bowl though. If you use the cup, you have to do your own pulsing and stuff. As far as other blenders go, they all seem to handle nut butters pretty well... at least the more powerful ones of the ones I've tried, anyways.

would like to see this without the oil. Peanuts have enough oil in them.
@JoesPhenomenal2 ай бұрын
True... If you don't use additional Oil, you can pulse the blender several times to start in order to get the nut broken up enough, then it should blend pretty smooth.
