Cold Steel is a shadow of it's former self. Been buying and using their products since the late 80s and own many, many of them. Carried a Carbon V SRK for a decade of military service. They've made some awesome shit over the years but also some disappointing ones.

I have no clue why Cold Steel gave the Leatherneck a hollow grind, and they didn't put fillets where the blade meets the tang. That's beyond stupid. Even the tanto version has a hollow grind. I'd love to know how many people like hollow ground knives for anything other than skinning animals. There's literally no reason for it besides hunting
