Joey Beltram was on every flyer, or it seemed that way, in NYC 92-96 ..many times he wasn't really spinning but sneaky promoters were trying to get big numbers so they dropped popular names ...He was always at the first parties back then though and lucky for me so was I. Much respect to Beltram for sticking with it all these years, come a long way from the underground spinning for teenagers in E in rags. Joey gets it, he knows how to build, come back build and drops some dope dope tracks. I was spinning today and busted out a Bob Sinclair joint w a dope remix by Joey Beltram on the b side

Joey is one of the most underrated producers of all time, when he released Energy Flash even he admitted all I was doing was trying to make some house music, but I was given the label as Techno got the chance to see him in the early 90´s at an underground party in LA during the good old days of the rave scene.

Omfg Lime light 1991 fukkkin mint...You can write all your little second hand thrift store clubs but there's just no comparison to the (LIME LIGHT) and NYC TELL ME NO ! ON 6th Ave. And 20th st. I remember back in the late 80's he had A radio show here in NYC which was difficult to tune into. I would tape wire to the radio's antenna and throw it out of the window. I think it was called "The 78th Street Project". I have A cassette tape or two of the show some where.
