Jon Bon Jovi is a hack, and Bon Jovi were the Nickelback of the 1980s.

They went on a hitaous in 1992,and made a comeback 11 years later, where bon jovi continued and made more hit songs... Don't judge europe by only final countdown, bon jovi had it's my life in 2000... Bon jovi was and still is great... Europe could be greater, but sadly they couldn't made it later

The Final Countdown is a better song than anything Bon Jovi ever wrote and Europe were a better band, period. John Norum as a guitarist is so much more technically skilled than Richie Sambora. Joey Tempest wrote songs with more substance than Jon Bon Jovi, and had a much better voice. Bon Jovi, Winger, Motley Crue, Warrant, Ratt and Poison all sucked. They were the worst 80s bands because all their shitty songs sounded the same and were about the same thing. On the other hand, Europe, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Whitesnake & Dokken were the best 80s groups because they could actually write songs with heart and substance. Bon Jovi dissed Europe because they knew The Final Countdown was a great song and they were butthurt that it was a bigger hit worldwide than any of their 80s songs.
