Start out slow. It will feel like you're striking really high at first. Just got to get used to it

Some instructors will say that this stuff is not so practical etc. but imo it looks really devastating and you can mix it with other punches to confuse your opponent. Your movement is pretty awesome executed. Great video! Keep up the good work :)

Thanks so much, I appreciate the support. Other instructors will say what they say...I don't really mind. I will just keep training and let them bicker about which style, system, strikes, etc. are better than others lol

So Will I, it is obvious that master of this style is going to protect it but i think that the key is just being open-mindet and mix all different variations :)

Nice breakdown. I've used the x pattern before, but never focused on that point near the bridge of the nose, what is the benefit of that? :)
@JoeyBslash3
@JoeyBslash3 6 жыл бұрын
Main benefit is protection of the vitals (eyes, neck, temples, etc.) I can make a response video explain it
@ZenDragonYoutubeChannel
@ZenDragonYoutubeChannel 6 жыл бұрын
Thanks, that was my first thought, guarding the important areas. That's actually part of why I like the x pattern, cuz it naturally guards well, but keeping your tip in mind, I can improve the guarding aspect: Thanks Joey, keep up the good work :) One thing I'd love to see on this channel would be some sparring (light, medium, full contact, whatever works well and is safe enough) where you improvise in an area similar to a videogame scene. Like for instance, if there's a game where you fight on a staircase, or an attic, or whatever it might be :)

Hope I'm not too late, I saw the clock throw technique used in the Splinter Cell karambit video. Are you able to expand on that technique?
@JoeyBslash3
@JoeyBslash3 6 жыл бұрын
Expand as in give variations or follow ups?
@jonathanmillett4734
@jonathanmillett4734 6 жыл бұрын
What I mean by that is, what should we do with our feet while executing the throw or the stance we should have when going into that. But perhaps a lead in to that technique would be cool, like a disarm or hand to hand combat.

Why only diagonal? What about vertical and horizontal hammerfists? PS: I'm looking forward for the "what about a helmet" special.
@JoeyBslash3
@JoeyBslash3 6 жыл бұрын
Ah yes, I will do a video on that. Diagonal offer the most protection and I wanted to keep the video short and sweet.
