Totally agree, although I think that was a really powerful opportunity for Joey to ask 'Why do cows produce milk?' and lead them down the path of explaining that cows need to be impregnated/give birth to produce milk, calves taken away, boy calves killed, process repeated for 4-5 years, the cow can't produce milk (profit) anymore and is sold to the beef industry to be killed. I think it would've been a VERY different conversation if that process was established early. Love Joey's videos and showcasing the various different people you come across doing outreach.

Good job Joey. But I think you should/could have explained the process of inseminating the mothers to continue their milk flow, and then killing off the unwanted calves. This is where most of the murder occurs in the dairy industry. Also even on those 'magical farms' where cows aren't murdered after being used for dairy, they are still exploited. Their bodies are being used without their consent for an unnecessary product. Even if 'milk isn't murder' it's still exploitation and slavery.

Explain why they are killed. When the meter mat the dairy shows that their yield has dropped they are known as downers and are sent for slaughter. They can live to 25 but most dairy cows are killed at 4 or 5.

It's the *cking mass media shouting about that single vegan baby who got sick and died of pneumonia (the autopsy showed some nutritional shortages, which could have occurred during the illness, and not accompany the poor baby throughout his life). And thousands of meat eating babies dying for the same reasons - no one is making news of it. He should look and see how dairy is made including the babies being seperated and killed, and the cows being killed and abused. Theres no right to steal milk from the baby calf, its mothers milk is superior for its health in like almost all cases. Dont assume hes lying. His age doesnt matter much.

I dont know where to ask or write this really but after binge watching your videos over the past few days i am really staring to question alot of stuff i have been doing. I've had periods over months where i've only eaten vegetarian and vegan food and i've honestly felt better then when i've eaten meat. But.. i always seem to fall back to because of the taste. But after watching your videos i find it incredibly hard to justify doing that. I already live with a vegan roommate so everything that i eat at home is vegan and i love it. What im wondering is how do i get all the nutrition i need like vitamins and protein? Also what supplements do i need to take? Joey your videos have been a real wakeup call for me keep spreading the word!

Dairy cattle aren’t sent to slaughter houses dairy cattle are bred to produce more dairy cattle who then produce milk for the community and they aren’t sucked dry because they naturally produce milk u can’t suck a cow dry also I know dairy farmers and when there cattle grow old they use them for meat in a very humane way because of the connection they made over the years my friends personally run dairy farms and they hate to see there cows go but there proud they know where there milk comes from and they give there cattle amazing food food they love the cattle get excited cause of what they eat they live better lives then humans do they live a full healthy life doing what they do naturally produce milk it’s how they were born I know U don’t want to hear that but milk isn’t murder inhumane slaughter houses are Murder go for them
