Find The Light you do realise meat eaters in general are hypocrites. most vegans used to be hypocrites because the ate meat while being against the truth of where it come from. when you stop eating animals and what comes out of their bodies you are no longer a hypocrite. someone can be a hypocrite and then not be one. that’s the point
@franklance91674 жыл бұрын
@@tessadunn8572 "you do realise meat eaters in general are hypocrites." No, I don't realise that, because all evidence provided for that claim from vegans is nonsense. Vegans in general(and by in general I mean the vast majority of them) don't know what hypocrisy is (You as well, evident by you literally saying "when you stop eating animals and what comes out of their bodies you are no longer a hypocrite."). Hypocrisy is where you have proclaimed principles and thus violate them. Most meat eaters, at best, have the principle that it is immoral(unacceptable conduct) to torture the animals in question. These same people don't care about whether or not the animals are killed(more about suffering prior to being killed), and usually don't care if they indirectly contribute to it. They simply hold, if anything, that the conduct of torturing the animals in question is immoral. They purchasing animal products IS NOT torturing an animal. It is purchasing an already pre-killed, pre-tortured product(their action doesn't torture anything), and at most it indirectly contributes to torture, but torturing=/=indirectly contributing towards torture, thus this conduct does not violate said principle, and thus doesn't constitute hypocrisy. Most of these people in reality don't even have an obligatory principle of conduct centered around this. It is usually some generic notion of badness of torturing these animals within some framework that they didn't really think through, and these types of framework aren't really solid principles that can be violated. Most of these people also can't argue well as well.

They always call vegan arguments silly but the only debunk is screaming "extreme" over and over. If its so silly and extreme can't it be easily debunked? Why is no one addressing any main points? Meat eaters yell "cult" at people and call them extreme, because evidently someone not blindly agreeing with everything they say makes them extreme? Lol. People are allowed to say how they feel and that doesn't change because you dont agree with it. Someone having an unpopular opinion is not extreme. Torturing animals and eating them even thoe its extremely unhealthy, and taste worst than non murder meat makes no sense. To yell at someone for killing a puppy and call it murder, yet pay for pigs to die, yet someone that dont kill any at all is extreme? Meat eater logic lol

@@KZbindeletedmyoldhandle let's have ago then. My number one goal is my own health. While I tried a vegan diet (again from a health rather than ethics standpoint) I work out a lot and need about 210 grams of protein a day. I was unable to do so without taking a lot of supplements or eating so much in lentils that it gave me digestive issues. As taking nutrients from food is generally optimal, I don't wish to take any supplements. From an ethics standpoint, I do agree that animals should not be force bred, milked, caged, or fed a diet intended to fatten them up. But I don't exclude an animal's purpose being for consumption. There are many ways human lives dictate that animals be subservient to them, including the sourcing methods of vegan food. While I have no problem with folks being vegan, I disagree with the personification of animals. "Rape, murder, etc". Those terms refer to humans. A vegan who eats corn, wheat, soy, etc products would not say that their diet "murders animals" when rodents and other small animals are killed in the farming of their food. To the end of giving animals better lives, i only eat meat that comes from 2 local farms where I can observe how they the animals are cared for. They live healthy lives (cows to 70-85 months, grass fed and finished), not caged or milked and have free range to roam and they are slaughtered it ways I find to be as close as possible to painless. These are the standards that I advocate those that DO eat meat to seek out. I do think a lot should be done to reduce meat consumption. The standard American diet is garbage. Getting a burger foe a couple bucks should not be possible. It is bad for the diet and can only be accomplished with abusive farming practices.

I don’t care paying ten times as much for my meat I have once or twice a week, if it means the animals lived a happy life, lived outside in the sun, on grass, can run however they want etc. That’s why right now I eat mostly meat of wild animals.
