you know a person that tells stories like that especially a comic. about 75% of everything he says is embellished or flat out made up to complete the story. i remember when i was 15 years old and i thought that this one guy was sooo good at telling stories and how amazing his life was, then i realized that story he was telling, i was a part of it and absolutely NOTHING happened the way this guy would tell the story.
@cristianibanez73032 жыл бұрын
@@nilocnaughton I would agree except there’s multiple times where he’s told a story on his podcast about music or a concert and he can pull up the exact date of a show or a year an album was released which are both verifiable. In fact they’ve checked on air and he’s either spot on or pretty close to the actual date/details. I don’t disagree with completely but Joey does indeed have the memory of a doctah!

I have honestly forgotten more than I remember. I know ppl say that all of time, but i genuinely mean that. I lives an extremely transient life. For 2 decades from my 20-40s i was on drugs and just toured around the UK. From one tip to the other. Many times only staying in the same place for weeks or even days b4 moving on. Looking back it was insane. Im sure a childhood of moving time and time again with new schools new friends and the like contributed to this. Never had a steady job, steady partner, nor any family in the uk. It understandably led to me being a little untethered in life ....something the drugs covered up quite nicely. In recovery, ive met so many people who haven't left their own towns or counties (quite common in UK) But seriously, im not joking when I say i have forgotten more than I can remember. Some of it by choice, some not. Ive often tried to draw timelines about my life and theres always big blanks of weeks and months! (Probably years) It does seem crazy looking back with hindsight, but at the time, never thought much about it. Life. Its a funny buggar!🙊🙉🙈 🙏😇🙏😇🙏😇🙏😇🙏😇🙏😇🙏😇

If you take the drill instructor away its just working out and standing in lines and stuff and if you are performing a task at work and are struggling its the context of your boss watching or customers or whatever if you take all that out of the equation how hard is the task at hand? They what I tell myself if I am struggling at a task or freaking out over something.
