Oh Joey, what you went through was so traumatic; it's a parent's worst nightmare, so please take all the time you need to take care of yourself and heal. I never want you to ever doubt yourself as a foster parent: you are an EXTRAORDINARY foster dad. You always provide amazing care to all of your animals. You didn't lose 3 puppies; you actually rescued 7 dogs, and for some reason, Mother Nature decided that the 3 girl pups weren't meant to survive. It really does look like fading puppy syndrome, so there is no way that ANYONE could have saved them. Your efforts to get them medical care were nothing short of heroic. Because of you, the girl pups passed in your warm embrace feeling your love, instead of alone and scared. Also, imagine how distraught and scared Daisy would have been if she had been living in the streets when the pups passed. Because of you, she was in a safe nurturing environment when she gave birth, and she had you to help her through the trauma of the puppy passing. I hope you understand that you don't just rescue animals, you also provide endless joy to hundreds of thousands of people with your videos. Your warmth, compassion, kind heart, and sense of humor restore my faith in humanity. We think the world of you, so take the time to nurture yourself.

take dramamine to get rid of the rest of the Vertigo! I have gotten it 3 times, drink lots and lots of water, rest, wear and eye mask to keep any light out, and take dramamine! I have found that helps with the nausea that comes with it. unfortunately there’s really nothing you can do for the spinning however just like when you are drunk if you let one leg hang off the bed it helps ground you

Hi Joey! Vertigo is a common symptom of vagus nerve issues. Based on the other issues you've had in the past, I would wager you're having vagus nerve problems and would recommend that you see a doctor who specializes on this nerve. It's a very important parasympathetic nerve and when it's not functioning properly due to low vagal tone, you can have many different health problems arise. Things like gut and digestive issues, anxiety, depression, being easily stressed, vertigo, nausea, heart palpitations, tachy and bradycardia, chronic inflammation, and many others. This nerve controls a lot of different processes within the body, to include all of the organs.

🙋🏼♀️vestibular therapist here (I treat vertigo!) first off Im so proud of your explanation of BPPV that is a very tough thing to explain and you did so good lol Here are my suggestions 1. Stay hydrated! The crystals move in a fluid and the more hydrated you are the easier they can move out of where they don’t belong and into where they do! 2. Start gentle head motions. I know it can be tempting to want to stay perfectly still all the time but its actually better to try and keep your head moving within a tolerable range. Try looking at a target and while keeping your eyes in the target nod your head “yes”, “no” and ear to shoulder 3. If you are still experiencing the room spinning especially after sitting up or laying down go see the PT again you may need to repeat the manuvers a couple times to get all the crystals out ☺️ Hope this helps and hope you feel better!

It looks like she has some hot spots forming . My first dog, Sharkie, used to get those. You’re going some peroxide and ointment to prevent infection and maybe a cone if Daisy is prone to biting her leg and rubbing her neck on the grass. For those who don’t know “Hot spots on dogs, also known as moist dermatitis, are a painful condition where the skin becomes reddened, moist, and swollen, usually as a result of allergies, an infection, parasites, or moisture trapped within the coat. Other symptoms include licking, scratching, biting, and discharge of pus and fluids.”

The first time I ever experienced vertigo was when the dentist accidentally put the dental chair to low and downward. It knocked the crystals out of place and after going to the urgent care they gave me some meds to help + told me about the Epley maneuver. The meds did not really help at all to fix the issue. I used the Epley maneuver after I finished out the meds and I kept doing the Epley maneuver until I was all better (took 5 days). There’s plenty of KZbin videos on how to do it properly and do not sleep on the side that makes you dizzy. Good luck 💛

The puppies almost look to be Akita x husky mixes but only because of their coats. Obviously I am probably wrong and so will be everyone else because you cant really tell at this age. Its rare for a dog to be 50/50 something and more likely for them to be almost 20 different breeds. The mom could be a husky mix too, a lot of husky mixes sometimes look like regular huskies. My dog looked like a direct border collie/ aussie mix but her dna came back with 18 different breeds, none of them which being border collie or aussie. Other people thought she was a border collie aussie mix too.

Oh yes, vertigo can be very scary! It generally only lasts for a few seconds or if somebody is having it consistently, it will usually only happen when you are standing and turn too quickly or if you stand up too quickly, but when it happens for the first time, it is scary. Once I got it and also started to see stars and then black out, and it reminded me of somebody drunk and high that ends up getting the spins. Luckily, it doesn’t generally last long, but it can be a symptom of a bigger issue if you are getting it regularly enough. I have quite a few chronic illnesses, but I believe the vertigo/lightheaded ness/blacking out is from my POTS alone. I would spell out the entire name, but I can hardly read it half the time let alone say it 😂

@kristineteall3682 жыл бұрын
If you clench your jaw, grind your teeth or have been told you have TMJ at your dentist, you can also get bouts of vertigo. The swelling in your jaw will put pressure on your ear canal, causing the dizziness. Best way to tell is press firmly on your joint on each side of your jaw and open your mouth, if it really hurts, try a bite guard at night while you sleep. It's always a good idea though to see your doctor first to rule out infection as poster above.

Hi! I recommend going to see an audiologist for a VNG as they are trained in vestibular and balance disorders, vertigo being one of the main types. Most likely hearing would have to be tested prior to getting one done to rule out other diagnoses.

Hey Joey are you sure you don't have Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) BPPV is a common cause of dizziness. It causes short bursts of intense dizziness when the body or head is placed in certain positions such as lying on one side in bed or looking upwards. People can feel sick and are sometimes unsteady for a few hours after the dizziness has gone away. There is a collection of tiny crystals inside your ear. They have a valuable role to play when sitting in the correct position. BPPV occurs when the crystals are dislodged from their correct position. They move into one or more of the semi-circular canals and either continue to float around or become attached to another part of the ear. There is an exercise that you can do to reposition the crystals in your ear channel.

I get vertigo once a year with my allergies. I have to do exercises once a day so that it doesn’t linger and doesn’t get too bad. Do the Brandt-Daroff exercises. Sit on your bed and slowly lay down on your side (the side where the vertigo is the worst), turn your head so your nose faces the ceiling and stay there for at least 30 seconds until you start to feel better. Then go back up and lie down on the other side. You need to do these 3-5 times a day for 2 weeks. It should go away quickly, but still do these to keep it at bay.

Many times I had to sit down, look down and close my eyes because I would start panicking and feeling my arms and legs completely numb and really cold. I would say at the end of the day is all about learning to control your body and knowing what to do when you get vertigo and obviously check it with your doctors bc it may be related to other things. Vertigo, or as they call it here in Italy, "cervicale" is so common here. (Thought people were making it up until it hit me twice in as many years here.) You end up walking around like a drunken sailor.... the physical therapists here treat it by massaging the base of your skull (you can try that yourself too...it helps gradually) and even pulling your head slowly away from your body elongating it. (They don't do the violent head toss thing that they do for the crystals as some of them attribute it to your pillow being too high (so you are sleeping with compression on the base of your skull - not good.) Try sleeping on a lower pillow (even though it's no party when it comes time to get up and the room whirls) or sleeping in any way you are comfortable where the back of your neck is NOT tilted forward. It passes eventually but it can take days or weeks... Move in slow motion as much as possible (ESPECIALLY when getting up) massage the base of your skull, and try not to change the altitude of your head too much! Hope you feel better soon! 💐 !

We tend to brush off so much (symptoms), saying we are just tired, overworked, stressed, it’s not serious, etc. In fact, MOST humans do this and for many reasons, but when we are telling ourselves these excuses, that is ALSO a huge sign that there is something more going on & we cannot ignore this huge 🛑 red sign that is telling us to keep track of our symptoms, write them down each day and the time of the day, and start being better aware and begin figuring out where all of these symptoms are pointing to! So I have some advice for you being a 33yr old woman that wishes I knew everything about my health a lot sooner, after years of brushing of multiple chronic illnesses, coinfections, etc. First, have you ever seen a geneticist to test you for a list of things or ever thought you might have POTS? (Btw, if along with vertigo randomly, you ever get lightheaded when you stand up too fast or get a pounding headache when you go from walking around/sitting to laying down on your belly. Those are just a few other signs of it.) But I know you have dealt with _all_ kinds of symptoms for years now, so the first thing I highly recommend you do is find a great geneticist to work with so they can test you for an array of things that your pcp normally wouldn’t. Things such as MCA (mast cell activation) and MTHFR, or any number of chronic illnesses or autoimmune diseases. . Besides a great geneticist, you should find a great functional medicine doctor. They are about finding the ROUTE CAUSES and healing the body accordingly rather than simply treating symptoms by putting a bandaid over it-by giving meds that create _more problems_ because they are usually meant to COVER UP the symptoms so you _feel_ better, but they aren’t actually helpful because they don’t *heal* the body and end up causing more issues in the long run. When you don’t experience your symptoms because you are taking something that changes how your body respond so to pain or temporarily lessons symptoms, you start to forget that your body is reacting in these ways because there is a bigger problem within the body causing these symptoms. And it’s worse when it’s your body reacting to itself (autoimmune) or towards regular things most people don’t normally think of as being something to avoid with the body because it is harder to find when you aren’t keeping track of the symptoms and following them to where they will lead you- the route cause. Over many years as humans in this society, we ignore and trust all doctors and take more medicines, along with allowing stress and anxiety to take a toll and being exposed to other things environmentally- externally or internally- and these thing build up over time and affect our health so much more, so the sooner you can use your resources to get the best testing and care possible, the more you can reverse anything going on inside you and become healthier for the future- which these days I think for most people it is VERY important starting in your mid-twenties! Your brain is also so important for your health because we are synergistic beings, and mind-heart-body-spirit..they all work together and when we have synergy, we have _both health and serenity!_ So the last place I would recommend you going (or first, the order doesn’t really matter!) is to the Amen Clinic. Dr.Amen gets a lot of shit online from people, but if you actually look into his history and why he got started doing what he does and how knowledgeable and experienced he truly is, he is doing amazing work for so many. Now everybody can afford to get an mri for mental health (or even for physical health unless you have serious enough symptoms, and even then most people are denied) and even though he still charges a lot, it is not nearly what most doctors would charge and he offers so many things for so many people and real ways to heal whatever is going on, it just mental and emotional, but physical problems too! So 1. Geneticist 2. Functional Med 3. Dr.Amen (and 4. Bio Dentist..the ONLY kind of dentist I will ever recommend now that I know what an know about the teeth and the rest of the body after getting screwed over and used by some very selfish doctors that absolutely destroyed my mouth.) I hope you figure out what has been causing your symptoms the past few years. Just looking out because I have been dealing with chronic illnesses for a while now, the symptoms started presenting themselves more in my mid twenties and got progressively worse in my late twenties to now in my early 30s.(I’m 33). I have crap insurance and dealt with horrible doctors my entire life that were of NO help (since I was 7 really, no doctors could help me and I had to help myself) I diagnosed myself 3yrs before any doctors would diagnose me with hypothyroidism/hashimotos disease, even though I told 5 doctors I had it and to test me for it..they refused to listen. Then finally a doctor reluctantly tested me and it turned out I had it. From that point on, I started relying on myself because the KINDS of doctors I needed and wanted to see.I couldn’t because I’m a broke bitch (literally don’t have any money, struggling to find a job) with shit insurance. It shouldn’t be so hard for people to receive the health care they need, but unfortunately most people that need the help the most because they live in the worst conditions and don’t have the best food/water options and live near more smog or polluted areas or around too many 5g towers, etc. but this is the way of our country. I hope you sincerely take my advice and that anybody that reads this focuses on their health and learning everything they can about how their body works and responds to the world and to what they eat/drink (health starts in the gut, including mental health!) Learn everything you can and don’t neglect it because without your health, nothing else matters and you can’t truly live your life to the fullest, or experience relationships to the fullest, and give your all towards your purposes in life like parenting or your work or passions. Of course you can still choose to be happy and grow both inside and out, as we all should, but it is SO MUCH EASIER to begin this journey and knowledge when you are younger and/or healthier. It doesn’t matter when you start, just that you start NOW! I also HIGHLY RECOMMEND (to literally absolutely everybody in my life that I care about and even strangers of course, like I’m doing now 😂) going to thetruthaboutcancer.com and watching all of their docuseries! They have multiple and they are all great. Two of my favorites are (and I don’t know the exact names) but one if on the truthful history of the health education system in America (that one will BLOW YOUR MIND, and the sad thing is the majority of doctors aren’t even aware of this history) and the second one I would recommend is they tour health care throughout Asian countries. Again, I forget the names, but these two are the ones I would begin with. They cost money, but if you sign up for their email list, a few times a year, they offer you to watch them for free within a 2-3day period usually. But they are worth every penny, and you absolutely want to get the transcripts with them, otherwise you will be writing SO MANY NOTES like you are back in school again..your fingers will be killing you 😂 (speaking from experience!) Again, you will love their docuseries, and I highly recommend you start with those two because they provide so much incredible knowledge, and it is SO EYE-OPENING to so much truth! Anyways, I hope somebody that needs this sees it, and that it helps you!! 💓😊💓😁✌🏼

I’ve had vertigo several times and it’s the worst feeling. I usually will do “the epley manoeuvre (KZbin it, and it shows you how to do it on your own), avoid screens (no tv, computer or phone), and lots of sleep. (And gravol for the nausea)

Meclizine tablets for the vertigo! Works like a charm for me at least! Hope it helps!

If you can’t get meclizine, my dr said Dramamine will work as well. Vertigo sucks and I heard once you get it, you are more than likely gonna get it again.

Green Tea soaks work wonders for hot spots. brew some green tea. Make it strong. let it cool fully. get a wash cloth completely soaked in the tea and then soak the spots with the tea wash cloth. do it for as long as shell let you. do not wash it off. let it dry. and repeat 2 to 3 times daily. after about 3 to 5 days it will be gone.

I get vertigo and the only thing that helps is doing the epley maneuver on myself! Unfortunately, to fix most vertigo you have to make yourself dizzy before you can get rid of the vertigo. Also, the majority of the time you only have a crystal out of place in one ear, so look up online how to figure out which ear is causing the vertigo. I hope you feel better!!

From my own personal experience with vertigo as best as it takes some aspens and just try not to move your head too much or lay down. Have a good day or night
