For all we know the Lambo is rented for a day for $1,500 and the person driving it is miserable. Or the person paid a ton of money for a car that depreciates faster than you can resell it. As soon as you buy it and sit in it you can take $5k or more off whatever ya paid for it. There are so many celebrities who have come out saying, "It looks like I have it all; when in reality I'm more miserable than most people who are struggling in life." The struggle makes us hussle and keeps us very busy. Where the person who has endless supplies, endless resources and endless "yes men" are often miserable. 😢

I love how you notice natures beautiful gifts like when you point out that a butterfly flying by or a little grey bird looking for food. I'm very connected to nature and to reconize her beauty and to have gratitude for these little things is one way to find happiness. some people walk around all day stuck in their heads worrying about things that may or may not happen when they should look around at this amazing world and take pleasure in the little things. Im not perfect but I'd be crazy if I didnt have my connection to nature which we are part of. Take time to smell the roses or some dank buds and say a prayer of graditude. Respect our Mother Earth and remember we are one. One Love 🌎🙏

I’ve never ever considered Joey lazy and that’s never crossed my mind. I would not watch his videos and then say somethings so negative like a stupid child that gets beat up in high school. But anyways, Joey is living life and he wants to live like this and many other people enjoy the freedom. Wow, I can’t believe somebody would say those words to you, Joey. It's stupid that we're forced to make a decision (career choice) that shapes our entire life when we're clueless about how the world works. It's also clear as day that we don't work for the good of society, we work simply to be busy and it's not a fair deal! This climate crisis crap is so dumb. We're forced to work to pay the bills and now we're being attacked because going to work is generating carbon. If we could work less and got paid more, then we'd produce less carbon surely? AKA it's the pricks running the place and keeping us all enslaved that need to change, not us. Gaslighting us i guess.

Nice video. The fact that manyt people ignore homeless people shows how sick our society is. Homelessness is a systemic issue. The system pushes many people towards homelessness. Most of homeless people had terrible upbringing, no money, no love which all lead to drug addiction , homelessness & etc. I never criticized homeless people again when i realized that i can end up on the streets too. It's a possibility i can't deny. Also the alternative to being homeless is usually being a wage slave and doing a job you hate just to barely make ends meet. If there were better oportunities maybe less people would be on the streets.

I am no saint by any stretch of the imagination but I always try to help out someone in need and when I am able to. I grew up pretty poor, wore dirty clothes to school at times, had hand me downs, and that sort of stuff. I am happy that I grew up like that in a certain sense (not saying its nice/good to be poor.)though because most people who were given a silver spoon are a lot of times selfish, self-centered, unappreciative, entitled, pricks. My values and what means most to me aren't wrapped up into money, possessions, or how people perceive me. Its crazy and fk'd up how groups of people can put so much emphasis on money that it causes them to evaluate someone's worth and judge people based simply on their looks, possessions, job, and based on how many pieces of paper (money) they have. Its absolutely appalling.

I learned a lot at school. My mom only went to 2nd grade because she had to go to work at 8 years of age. She taught me appreciation of education. I eventually went to college with a full scholarship and got my masters degree. But it's not for everybody. People who don't want to be there ruin it for those who do. They should be allowed to go do something else. I was put in a school for gifted children. We all wanted to be there and we could learn about whatever we wanted. It was a very good experience for me.

The only useful Math concepts I use today: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. I think the goal is to develop the brain 🧠 analytical thinking vs emotional thinking. I do agree that more nature needs to be more high up on the priority list of things children should learn. How to take care of the environment, be observant, and care for our planet. Also CPR/lifesaving classes should be mandatory. Financial classes should be a necessity for adulthood and work life. How to file taxes, manage accounts, manage money, balance your bank account and budgeting. Just my 3 cents. ❤ Love your videos Joey- keep them coming!

100% that math is the best way to learn to think analytically- not to mention understanding the financial world we function in. This is the same for learning how to read an analog clock - there is MORE conceptually that we learn other than just how to tell time.

No if you want to be a bus driver (and typically ppl know that when they are 10 lol), you only need to learn how to drive. Ppl go through schooling to understand and appreciate the complexity of the world. As they go through school they learn who they are, what they are capable of and who they want to be. Collapsing school would significantly impoverish the ability of kids who do NOT want to be bus drivers but want to be neurosurgeons or scientists or teachers etc to understand themselves and the world around them. Making education purely utilitarian will take us back to Dark Ages. Yes some will not benefit from knowing claids but some will! It depends on your brain. And now standards are so low that all future bus drivers are in a good position to get a GED.

I've read loads of books and I haven't heard of 1984 . I'll check it out. Myself I believe I'm street smart and not so much book smart.. The last time i was in downtown St Pete, i saw a ton of homeless people. One guy caught my eye. He was sleeping on the sidewalk with no shoes on, looking absolutely pitiful. I gave him a $10 dollar bill. It was all i had on me. He looks at the money, rolls his eyes and goes back to sleep. I was like, "Wow, you're welcome dude". I know it wasn't a $50 or more, but it's all i had, and he acted as if i offended him. It was disappointing. He didn't need to thank me for eternity. Anyways. Maybe that's why some people dont feel comfortable helping homeless folks out. You never know why someone might walk past someone in need.

We all have opportunities to succeed in America. The only reason I don’t live a more affluent life is because I don’t care for status, possessions and what people think of me. I had issues with drugs and mental health when I lost my purpose in life. The key is finding a profession that gives you some sense of purpose. Are we as a society going down the crapper, yes! However, once you let everything everyone else is doing get you down, you’re lost. I’ve had many shitty jobs, shitty bosses and shitty co workers just like many of you. However, once I gave up and said hell with everything, I was only hurting myself. At 44 now, I finally found work I enjoy doing, it’s nothing closely related to my Degree, but I’m not gonna condemn the education system. The key is to not piss away your blessings and to surround yourself with good people. If there’s no good people close to you, learn to do things solo and without toxic people draining your life force. Anyone has the ability to change for better, not many are actually capable of changing until it’s too late. The world has always been full of evil, but there’s also GOOD. You are what you think and put enough good out there, you will continually attract it (Good). Blessings.

Speaking to education - we should teach all kids the same bc why limit someone to be “a bus driver” when they’re 7? This reminds me of Animal Farm by Orwell - where the pigs are the only ones who get education and know how to read. We cannot limit or alter education based on a community role someone might play when they’re older (becoming a bus driver). People need to learn to read, write, do math at a high level, and -most importantly - THINK CRITICALLY. I do not think we should direct people to jobs when they’re young. Sounds too communist to me. lol

@@joeythegypsy true. Although I’m not saying that being a bus driver is inherently bad. I think the concept of pigeon holing anyone into any role or job before they have the wherewithal to decide is bad. I see it within the Indian and Asian cultures where they pigeon hole their kids into being doctors. It’s the idea of deciding FOR a child when they’re under 18 on what their capabilities are. Because kids DO grow with the right soil. A friend of mine was deemed as having a severe learning disability by his teachers. His mom worked with him tirelessly, and he became a scholar. Had they decided when he was little that his aptitude was a certain way, he would never have gained the skills he now has. I think we are ultimately saying the same thing - allow people the space and acceptance to become who THEY are and what they bring to the table. ❤ unfortunately we live in a sick society that values money and productivity over anything else.

I might be quick to anger at times but the anger usually fades just as quickly. The only thing that will get me to attack someone is if they attack me. And it's not something that makes me feel good when I think about times i may have put my hands on someone so I do all i can to avoid it because it's a lose lose situation.

As I discovered this about early twenties and we'll talk about it people would act like I was crazy like that either didn't know what I was talking about or like well that's just the way the world is you know Buck up buttercup I mean I was met with a lot of hostility what I was figuring this out and I mean it was almost too much to bear that I got to the point where I eventually I just had to block it out or else I couldn't function

Made perfect sense. More people would like to be more reliant on what they can build themselves. Sad that people do walk on by and or abuse some people living on the streets. Looks like a beautiful place where you’re parked. Cheers & best of wishes ✌🏻☘️

At school, we obey the government and the country. Social arrangement so that people don't know how to pay attention to the right things in society and life. This is why people are so unhappy and sad. A person who does exactly what he wants and makes a living from it is happy.

It's that Right to Work & At Will work law. No loyalty, you never miss a day, coming to work sick, take on risks. At 5 yr mark, it's 3 yrs Vaca & 40% 401 vesting. Everytime, layoff. All the men my age say the same. Work isn't worth it.

Of course we ware conquered. Ask yourself why do you have the Bible on your bookshelf, cross around neck and on grave, ''in god we trust'' on the money and marriage in church. It's so obvious that it hurts. We have same story as native Americans, it just started a dozen more hundreds years before in Europe. ✡= ✝= ☪

This is so right. As I've got older I really want to join the Hindu sect known as The Naga Baba, I'm not joking. Those people really understand Life, how to live & the "bigger picture" When I look around me at England and how people live I find beyond absurd, its all pointless. Joey is 100% correct in what he says here.

Yeah dude as a trans guy no one taught me to feel that way when I was growing up it was just something I knew deep inside of me. Everytime I take testosterone I get more mental clarity of who I am. Kinda sucks to have to be attached to pharmaceutical basically forever but that’s life I guess.

No one grows up to be a bus driver. They make mistakes in life and end up there. Children are taught multiple subjects in school so they can figure out what they're interested in. If you were interested in plumbing you would go to a trade school.

really like the first part of this video, cause I completely agree. And I also think the vision of having just some land that is used to be self sufficient on is so important. Fuck these feudal lords we have to serve now. and I’m also not for a violent revolution but it’s almost like that’s the level of grip this system has on people… think that’s how animal farm ends too with the pigs being burnt up in the house ? I can’t fully recall

I align more on the left for sure but I agree that the division in this country is destroying it. Both sides care more about defeating the other side and winning than actually making progress. I’ve caught myself feeling a lot of anger towards trump supporters but I know that is not the answer. We need to learn how to talk to each other again.

Loved the hymns sung by the bells in the background of this video. I know that wasnt the gist of your rant, Joey, but I also listened to every word you said, and couldn't really agree more than I already do. I remember so many decades ago being a child in Junior High and reading Animal Farm and thinking, hell no, that won't happen here to my people in the great US of A! Now look at *US* today, and yes I'm still qualified to say that because even though I've lived in the UK now for almost 40 years (damn it, now I'm giving my advanced age away) I'm still an American and remember " the old America". Most Younger people such as yourself are just following the easier path of least resistance and are not willing to challenge themselves to live more authentically. The part about working twice as hard, for many more hours a day and getting half as much as before (for at least five to ten years longer until retirement) really resonates with me. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, you hit the nail on the head, and it hurts.😢

I’ll be honest. I can’t walk by or drive by a homeless person without giving them money and/or food. There’s just something in me that has to give to those folks every time I see them. They’re all human beings just like we are. They just got a little lost along the way or lost sight of themselves. Love the videos Joey. You got a great thing going here brother.

I know what your saying I generally, generally agree with you but every time? I do so when I feel inspired for one reason or another and if I generally get a feeling so I cannot do so for every one of them I come across-Some just have a certain bad aura about them and do you not ever wonder which one is a real molester or old lady mugger or otherwise. Or just a complete manipulator and generally not a good dude.
