Although the album attributes this work to Johann Christian Bach, Artur Felisberto (per comments below) informs us that Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach ( 1732-1795) is the actual composer. Our earnest thanks to Mr. Felisberto for the correction.

The only Concerto in A major of Johann Christian Bach is: W.C 49 Op. 1 Nº 2 Harpsichord Concerto in A major...and is not the same and not so «Brilliant»!!!

This is Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach , the older brother of Johann Christian Bach the youngest of Johann Sebestian.

Point well taken. The date given is taken from the Neville Marriner album (off which this recording came.) What the explanation respecting the anomalous date is otherwise, I myself couldn't say. Unless it is a typo, or else posthumously published, your surmise would appear to be correct. The same piece, by the way, is also contained on Huguette Dreyfus' "J. C.
