This song was played at my wedding in 1989. My beautiful husband and I were married 17 years, had 2 gorgeous daughters and an incredible life. I was always scared of becoming hurt from love. My deepest fear. So I always held back, when my husband held on. On February 12, 2007, he passed away in his sleep at the age of 42...heart attack. I don't know why I shared this, I guess because today he would be 49, and if I could have given him as much as he deserved. This brought back memories..

Must be close. My father used to play the organ at weddings and he always had music like this playing for a bit before the actual bride’s entrance to walk down the aisle. And the groom waits before she arrives. I’m so anxious to hear my bridegroom call me!!❤️🙏

I Think you might find that Zack was referring to the fact that 46 years ago the only way you could have played this in a church was if you had an organist or a record player and amp, something he obviously didn't have at the time. there was no youtube, no ipods, no cd's etc back then. Bubbly indeed. This might be the most rushed version of Canon in D I've heard. Even the wedding versions are usually more stately. The bride will be trotting instead of walking if it's the march. Love the full orchestration, tho. I used the Canon 30 yrs ago at my own wedding, before it was fashionable, as the last music before I entered. It's my favorite short piece of classical music & I wanted to be able to listen to it in relative peace.
