Johann Sebastian Bach - Solo Partita BWV 1013: Allemande by Lenka Molcanyiova

My interpretation of the beautiful Allemande from a solo partita written by J.S. Bach played on the Alto Recorder 415 made by Tim Cranmore.
My final bachelor concert at Conservatory in Florence.

Hello, what piece can you recommend for beginners? I play the recorder for half a year, but have 10 years piano experience. I practice Badinerie and this piece at the moment (of course at lower speed). I find it difficult to find good pieces, because they are either too difficult or too easy/boring. Isn't this a good middle piece? Also, I found that playing with better recorders significantly increases my playing quality. On my current 5€ soprano recorder it's much more difficult to play well than on the 167€ Denner soprano I am going to buy… sorry if I bother you with too much text. I would be glad about a response (also from others who read this) ! :-)

Dude if you can read partiture all you have to do is to memorize the fingering and learn to breath correctly and the blowing techniques....for a begginer that would be a great start Also, easier pieces are always important!!! Dont let the boring side take over hahaha.... Use them to warm up a little, to practice the basic stuff, etc.... dont put them aside just because they might not be that interesting xD

She plays recorder since she was a little kid and great. Look into her videos. This Bach piece is difficult. You need some years.

I don't think that Lucie Horsch could pull this off like you do. [ "pull if off " = "make it a success"] . Certainly Michala Petri could not, because she is bad at phrasing. Never forget that you are better than Michala Petri, Lenka. She can play very quickly but so can you.

I'm very sorry, I thought you were Czech, but you seem to be Slovak. Where I live (Oxford), before the Brexit disaster, Slovaks seemed to be doing better than Czechs.
