Thank you for sharing your creative flow with us. Seeing you go through the decisions about what to put where makes me have so many ideas about my journaling. Watching you pull out the stapler made me so happy lol! Sometimes we get too precious with our journals when often a good staple is just the thing! So glad you film these! 🥰

I have had such a difficult day today. I came home and thought before I start I’ll just sit with a tea. I was so happy to see you had a “journal with me”. You have such a relaxed style that I adore. I love how you put colours and patterns together. Thank you for getting me through the next few hours.

Yaaayyyy, you finally got you some glue stick, haha! I love how there’s so much writing and imagery in this one! I do love me some photo-story spreads, but I can’t always afford to print pictures, and I don’t have a printer, so it’s fun to see list ideas, and papers and stuff that spark memories/ideas. Delightful, as always, to watch your process! 💛

Idk where you’re from, but most photo printing apps in my country (UK) will give you some free prints every month just for having an account on their app - I have a few different ones and so can print 150 photos for free every month, and just pay for postage. Just something you could look into ❤️

Hope all well with you and your family - we are getting lots of COVID-19 news about NSW here in NZ - I guess it’s mainly in the cities. I used one of your journals as my lockdown record - it all seems so long ago now as we are all back out and about now here. Very grateful to live in NZ atm!

How do you bind the small story book pages in? Also how do you chose your ephemera? I feel like I have so much stuff and images I love and want to use but get overwhelmed to the point I can’t pick anything. I currently I’m using a journal I kind of thrown together and hasn’t really inspired me, so I’m just going to go through and stick a whole bunch of stuff that I’ve meant to in. Hopefully with a new journal and less clutter I’ll be more inspired

I really love your pages. I do have a question. Since you cover the pages up with layered papers and things, why not just have white paper to start with instead of covering up the patterned, colored, etc pages?
@JohannaClough4 жыл бұрын
The patterned papers give me such a great starting point to come up with ideas and layout! I don’t feel like i need to cover every space or be intimidated by blank stark white pages. I love that the patterns can match in with my ephemera and vice versa 💕
