The Silverface Fender Bassman 100 has a huge tone so it works wonders in very open mixes. I'm playing a 1975 Bassman 100 through a 1971 Marshall 1960A 4x12 cab in a mix with drums. Together with the drums the amp fills out the frequency spectrum beautifully.
