Gina Deuters, whose husband works for Depp, told jurors in a Virginia courtroom that Heard and her friends appeared to be having “a wonderful time” and offered her the pill.
But her testimony was cut shortly after she admitted she had watched part of the trial before taking the stand.
The judge abruptly dismissed her from the witness box and told the jury to disregard her testimony entirely.

*For those with questions: Yes this was Johnny's friend and an immensely important person for his side. In the court was Eve (journalist and Amber's girlfriend) who illegally doctored a photo of an old social media post to make it look current and showed it to Amber's attorneys in an attempt to get her kicked from the courtroom. It was successful because John's friend is honest about seeing a few clips since it's everywhere. However, this is before the judge found out of the doctored photo used by Amber's team, and Eve was also kicked from the courtroom barred from return.*

I could never understand why Johnny Depp lost all of his film roles because of this trial but Heard was allowed to keep hers. If its right for one then it should be right for both. Problem is a man has a bigger problem proving domestic abuse against a woman!
@IlDeimos
@IlDeimos 2 жыл бұрын
Because its Hollywood. Hollywood is filled with liberals that take a woman's word as fact, and assume she is telling the truth, and always assume the Man is lying. Disney especially, they are as far left as you can get. In their eyes, Women can do no wrong, and all men are bad. Its sad. Don't get me wrong, Johnny is also a liberal, and I don't agree with his politics either. But what they are trying to do to him is wrong, and I never want to see him lose his career, even if I don't agree with his politics. He is a great actor, he made Disney billions. Wishing you happiness from this moment on..take care ~ Many knew Johnny was the abused one. He needs to follow up with getting professional help to guide him to balance his own actions: he's very kind person and I understand it's easier for some of us to develop into that side to maneuver through childhood environment & turn the suppressed emotions into self-destructive ways; makes sense to dull the hurt and also the fear of releasing emotions. It's disgusting that Ambers legal team falsely cropped a 2 year old tweet photo and used it in court to get Dueters kicked. It is proven they lied but regardless the judge asked her if she watched any and she said yes...clips. So if Dueters had said no I think Ambers legal team would have really f'd up and I'm so disappointed Dueters said she seen clips...but at the same time it proves she is an honest person. They may have stricken her testimony but the jury heard it. I cannot believe all the court did was just kick that asshole Barlow out...there should've been some contempt charges. AH's team with the help of Eve Barlow, journalist and current girlfriend of Amber, doctored an IG post of Gina's from 2021 to make it seem current. They committed FRAUD against the court by doing this. They set Gina up and she is honest so admitted to watching clips. She was rightfully dismissed for this. But it doesn't excuse what AH's team did. Eve was also live tweeting from the courtroom, passing notes, etc. The judge was not happy and banned Eve Barlow from the courtroom for the rest of the trial. Rule 615 of “federal rules of evidence” means the witness may be excluded for having watched any trial testimony. It would give a witness an unfair advantage to know what was already said in court so they can adjust their testimony. Whether a witness would adjust their testimony or not or whether they heard just a little bit or not are both irrelevant because it’s the fact that they heard anything submitted to the court during the trial. If an attorney is looking to get damning evidence from witness thrown out of trial, they will look for ANYTHING to strike that witnesses testimony from the record. That way the jury doesn’t hear evidence that could destroy their defense. So yeah, that was dumb on her part, she screwed up and that’s evidence the jury won’t get to hear. Juries don’t always get to hear ALL the evidence… only the evidence that fits within the “rules.”

I was the only living child of my father and inherited because of that and while they were financially compensated ( my snake of a half-sister got 100k off the top) even though they completely ignored my parents when they fell ill and were failing they couldn't stand it that once again due to my love for my parents and kind nature (I took care of both of them while working full time) I inherited the house and property where I grew up.... The tweet was about Johnny & Ambers court case from 2021! BUT the defense did not check that part out & showed the judge the tweet & that’s when the judge asked the witness that question! After she was thrown out, the Prosecution team looked it up & seen that it was in fact from the past trial & they showed the judge & she then threw Ambers friend out of the court precedents & scolded the defense team! But of course the jury doesn’t know this & they just know what they saw & that was a key witness of Johnnys being dismissed for watching stuff on the internet!

And Ambers lawyers did not even check it out to see if it was true till Johnnys attorneys did so & by then it was to late! Reporters from Court tv that were inside the courtroom said that the judge was mad at the defense for doing that & Ambers friend was then thrown out of the courtroom & told not to return! I wished that the jury would have been in the courtroom to hear & see this!! That was a key witness for Johnny! And then she lied about the make up palette that she said she covered up her bruises with, the company named Milani put out a statement & said that they didn’t come out with that make up palette till 2017! Not 2013-2015 like Amber said! And it’s all over the media about it! But of course the jury won’t hear about it neither!

Amber's friend, Eve Barlow, (who is sitting in the front row of the gallery during this testimony) was looking at this witness' instagram and believed she saw a post made during this trial that referenced Johnny's legal wins on an earlier date. This would imply she had knowledge of witness testimony, which would disqualify her. The post was actually from 2021 and made during another trial, but nobody noticed apparently. Some people claim that Barlow manipulated the post somehow to hide or obscure the real date; perhaps she took a screenshot and cut the date off. Barlow immediately sent this post in a text message to Heard's attorney, after which he halted the trial. You can actually see Barlow with her head down followed by Rottenborn, Heard's attorney, checking his phone and consulting with his team in real time in this video. So the impetus for the line of questioning was based on bad facts. When this was discovered, Barlow was banned from attending any further court proceedings (the judge's order is under seal so we don't know the reason she was banned for certain, but this is likely why). Regardless, the damage was done and a very important witness for Depp's team was removed, because she ultimately messed up by watching parts of the trial online.

Because witnesses are forbidden from watching, reading or talking about the trial prior to their testimony. It keeps them from hearing or knowing what others have testified too and prevents their testimony from being influenced by what others have said. If she heard what he said on the stand she could just repeat that instead of basing her own testimony on her own first hand knowledge and memory.

But, some damage has been done against Johnny as all the jury now knows is that one moment Georgiana is on the stand, the defense asked to approach the bench, they had a pow wow, and then the jury is dismissed for a while. The jury doesn't know about Barlow. So hopefully, big picture, it won't be that big of a deal; but in the micro, it is, unfortunately, a minor setback for Team Depp. ugh

@berretta9mm158

"Your Honor, this is the first we've heard of it..." It was either purposeful or INCREDIBLY INCOMPETENT of them to not know she was watching parts of a trial she was testifying in, and for not simply ASKING her this before she testified. Any other judge would have castigated them HARSHLY and publically for tainting the jury (who, no matter what the judge says, cannot "unhear" what a witness like this has said), and been FURIOUS at the wasted time. Heard's lawyers impeached the witness illegaly - fraud and witness tampering. They should be in jail. WHAT???? The Heard team "forgot" to ask one of Depp's "key" witnesses whether or not she had been following the trial through "computer video clips" which, if she was on Heard's side, would allow her to bolster testimony others had made AGAINST Depp? There is a REASON the participants who testify are told NOT EVER to watch prejudicial - or any - coverage of the other testimony! Her team of "Lawyers" are like High School students who are pretending to be lawyers - and they very much reflect the personality of Amber Heard: they lie, manipulate, ask petty questions about a forensic psychologist having "dinner and drinks" with Depp as if the two of them were alone in a love nest, instead of in the company of his security, his legal team, and anyone else involved in evaluating her use as an expert witness - not unusual AT ALL in a case this high profile, and droning on and on for an endless time about her husband bringing morning muffins to her office before she talked to Amber Heard. What in God's name does this have to do with ANYTHING, except a little kindness? I can't understand this judge at all - I would have lost my patience with her "legal team" within an hour of the first day of their senseless, useless, and unprofessional B.S. If he doesn't win this case, then our "wokeness" about men just being "violent" and "toxic" by the very fact that they were born male, will be the end of us, and "justice" for men is already dead. Between the two of them, it appears the crazy and violent one is HER. Why is it people have such a hard time believing that WOMEN are fully capable of insane acts of emotional, intellectual and physical acts of violence AT LEAST equal to that of men? The fact that he drinks and gets high has NOTHING to DO with whether or not he is violent. If someone is violent, then they will be MORE violent when intoxicated. If they are passive and kind, the chances are great that they will be even more so when inebriated. This man appears to have the patience of a saint - and she has used that against him, and is trying to destroy him in every way - she seems to be just pure evil. Her legal team is lying, manipulative, petty, and vicious - just like her. It's a great match. I am a man - and have both witnessed it happening to other men, and had it happen to me. Men are taught it is shameful FOR THEM when a woman abuses them and discouraged from ever discussing it - or even ADMITTING it - let alone reporting it. I hope Heard is DESTROYED by this trial, and her team of lawyers never gets a case again.
