Johnny Depp with his other wives or girlfriends seems to jibe well perhaps because these women knew how to handle his quirks and rage episodes when drunk and high with cocaine. Unfortunately, with Amber Heard, battling with medical issues herself, cannot handle this side of him. She confronts him regarding his bad behaviour but it seemed it only added fuel to the fire. Amber Heard seemed to be the kind who will really stress-out the issue believing perhaps that it will get through his foggy brain, but, Johnny Depp with a painful childhood trauma cannot tolerate this kind of confrontation. His best self-defence when confronted was to get-away from it which frustrated Amber Heard because the issue will remain unresolved and swiped under the carpet as usual. This kind of cycle in their relationship goes back and forth hence the divorce. Amber Heard really feels battered with the constant battle with Johnny Depp. I agree that Johnny Depp is kind and generous to his staff and donates money to charity and is good to the public (PR and all) and is sincere but there is another side of him that is opposite to what the public knows especially when he is very high on drugs and very drank. Amber Heard is also airing her side of the story in court which is also believable.

When I married my ex wife who happened to be a covert narcissist with borderline personality disorder, I was already 37, happy, social drinker on weekends only and no drugs. After the initial love bombing stage ended which lasted about a year, she then switched over to the devaluation phase which was devastating. I went from being her soulmate to being a loser and from hi baby, how was your day to walking on egg shells. Since we had 2 kids, I felt that I needed to stay, do my best to keep the family together. 15 years passed and the abuse had taken its toll. No more self esteem, needed a few beers every night in order to fall asleep, no friends and my family I completely alienated. Towards the end, we had separate bedrooms and I'd work late or stay away until I knew that she'd be asleep then, come home, microwave dinner, take a shower, go to sleep and get up to do it all over again. I was nothing but an ATM to her and my life was miserable. The straw that finally broke the camels back was when her verbal and mental abuse turned physical. 1 punch in my mouth when I didn't expect it was it, I was done! It took me 17 years to figure out that I had enough. I filed for divorce and went no contact. (with her only) Hindsight is 20/20 and trauma bonding is real. Yes, it takes 2 to argue but when one side is a narcissist with BPD, the gas lighting, word salads and craziness is impossible to defeat. Besides my 2 beautiful children, I was robbed of 15 years of living. Life that could have been happier, life that could have been more loving, with more friends, with family and with my self esteem intact all of which I had lost because I didn't recognize the red flags in the beginning. When I look at this trial and I listen to the details of the case, the situation is clear. JD may not be perfect, none of us are but the reason why he is willing to air all of his dirty laundry to the world, spend 6 weeks away from home, friends and family and pay 7 figures in addition to all that he has lost is because he is innocent. The narcissist has taken everything that he has worked for his entire life! She was awarded $7 million dollars for the 18 month's that they were married but she wants more. For JD and for all men out there that were subjected to the tortures and abuse of a covert narcissist, lost years of their lives and all of their income, I wish for them, revenge, restitution and peace.
