John Anderson, to my ears, has the purest voice in classic country music. Not by a little, either: by a long shot. This is the sound of GENUINE country music.

John Anderson is one of my heroes back in 1983 I went with my friend to Washington DC he owned a company called In-N-Out burgers on our way home we were listening to music in the plane and we listened to John Anderson doing interview after they started playing his music my friends started listening to country music when we got home he put together a fundraiser for children and John Anderson was a guest star he converted the warehouse into a barn dance I had the opportunity to meet John I told him that interview that he did with the radio station was why he was there that he converted this man to country music John went on his bus brought me a picture and signed it for me to thank me for introducing him to country music and to be a part of the fundraiser John Anderson is one of my heroes for sure he's very kind and down to earth I still have the picture and I think about it every now and then.

I read once that 'a John Anderson tribute album would be ridiculous. No one could come close to his voice.' But more so, than the voice God blessed him with, John said he just wanted to share his music with the world, and he has. His beautiful heart shows thru in how he treats the fans, and always thanks the staff who work the venues where he plays. A true country gentleman❤
