I didn't catch the music they played at the funeral. The reporter said, "his family was offered the service and music of its choice. It chose not rock music but traditional". And then it sounds like he said "crimin". In fact, that's how the closed captions read. But I googled "crimin" and found nothing. Is that a composer? A genre? A song?

I was in 10th grade and saved enough for four tickets. When I heard the news of Bonhams death, I walked the neighborhood with my one speaker boom box and played Zeppelin until my D batteries withered away. Life would have been a little fuller with a Led Zeppelin concert. I did see an excellent Robert Plant show and a strung out Jimmy Page in The Firm. Fourth row. I don't know who was worse, Jimmy Page or Paul Rogers.

Just think: All these musicians are dead - Michael Jackson, David Bowie, John Bonham, Robin and Maurice Gibb, Prince, Jimmy Hendrix and his entire Experience band, Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, George Michael, Kurt Cobain, Keith Moon, John Entwhistle, Leon Russell, Chuck Berry, Merle Haggard, Adam Yauch, Frank Sinatra even Frank Sinatra jr., Glenn Frey, BB King, Al Jarreau, yet Keith Ricards lives on. Keith Richards who chain smokes Marlboros to this day, still drinks and no doubt still dabbles in drugs has outlived almost everybody. A million years from now mankind will be extinct, and there will be Keith huffing his butts laughing away.

Maybe exercising your immune system and your body's resistance by introducing it slowly, over time, to things considered 'bad for you' can actually be what's best for you. Seems to be working for Keith and Ozzy Osbourne, and many others. A few years ago, I'd have bet the farm Keith Richards would die before the Ultimate Warrior, but... If I had. Today, I'd be farmless.

AlexKx mentioned cockroaches above. Which are another example of my earlier post. Cockroaches eat what? The crap behing your range, under your refrigerator, and between your couch cushions. They can also survive a Nuclear blast. I wonder what Keith had for lunch today...
