Bonzo had his license suspended, which caused him a problem of not being able to drive to his nearby pub. His solution was to buy more land, which enabled him to drive over his fields to the pub.

I was lucky enough to be in a club called Mother Blues in Dallas Texas one night, when Robert and John came in. John started playing drums with the band and I remember one thing about the sound of that band improved 100% immediately. Robert was there to pick up groupies and he walked right into me as I stood right in his way…..Never forget that night.

I briefly worked at a BMW dealer just out of high school in 1974. One day Kenny Loggins showed up with another fellow, asking about a very expensive top of the line vehicle. The salesman was very rude and basically said get out of here you stupid hippy. KL returned a week later to purchase some accessories with that exact model purchased elsewhere. We all watched the salesman get fired on the spot by the sales manager once he was informed about his rude behavior and the lost sale. 😂😂😂

Richard Carpenter, one half of the "pop" duo the Carpenters with his sister Karen also owned a 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB Daytona Spyder. It's pictured on their "Now & Then" album cover with Richard driving and Karen in the passenger seat in front of their parents home in Downey, California. He still owns it along with several other American made muscle cars in his collection at his Yesterday Once More wearhouse/car museum in Newbury Park, California.

You can actually compare anything. As an example you can compare the space shuttle with a banana. both are elongated. Both are solid materials. Both are created on Earth. As for drummers, Bonzo is right up there. He can be compared to Jimmy Chamberlain, Dave Grhol, Steven Perkins, Charlie Watts, even Ringo. Neil Peart was too technical. But Bonham was one of a kind. An absolute monster on the skins.

Didn’t know about the apparent connection between Rock drummers and Jensens 😮! In Bonham’s case, it makes sense because he grew up so near the factory (I always liked the Interceptor IIIs 🙂). Did JB also own one of the “factory” right hand drive Daytona Spyders? The GTB pictured is beautiful, and a near ringer for Ruchard Carpenter’s (Bonham’s has the plexi front end, which wasn’t legal in the States because the headlights weren’t far enough off the ground ), but “The Magnificent Seven” are all GTSs (Spyder / convertible). I think all seven still exist - Nick Mason may have one of them.

Heard one of them tell a story that the song came about after John bought that car in LA and he was telling his mates about the salesman and his purchase of the TA . Love how some British folk think the AC would have been just another come and forgotten British car? Carrol Shelby ‘s engineering and Ford engine’s made the CORBA

Everyone that knows anything about cobras knows that it started off as an AC Ace, but Carroll Shelby heavily modified that car in every single way. You can tell they're related, but the Ace is a weak little brother.

Everyone's gonna think im crazy but ive never cared for the Cobra very much, for me personally id rather have a Fastback like a Boss or MACH 1 or Shelby! I know, i know Shelby created the Cobra! It just doesnt do it for me! Not like a Fastback!🙆‍♂️😎👍
