Yeah, but Devon is so quick on his feet that when he had a response about Dave, Ermes couldn't do anything but awkwardly laugh. And after, when they start the back-and-forth, Devon is sharper with his tongue. He WANTS it to be a fight, no matter how friendly they are in real life. Friendly before or after the contest, sure, but right before and during the match, it's a combat sport.

Actually.... I think in King of the table 2, when john vs devon was happening, john clearly said to devon you don't look so impressive with your size, when compared to other great arm wrestlers! To which devon replied, it doesn't matter, and this size is enough to destroy anybody including john... And yes, devon was right then. Now that same kind of argument is being made by Devon for ermes. I think ermes should give the same answer to devon, with the same attitude which devon showed to john at that time.. 🙂💪 Ermes all the way!

Devon is taking a much different approach with his opponent this time, playing more reverse psychology instead of the typical braggadocious insults he normally throws his opponents way. I think he is only doing this on the days leading into the fight to give Ermes a false sense of security by letting him think Devon is really already mentally defeated and he won’t put up much of a fight, but in reality that’s not the case at all. Wait until the press conference, Devon will ratchet it up and then on the table it will be no punches pulled, all out war!!
