John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band was born 49 years ago in a little state called Rhode Island. Like the band, I too was born 49 years ago in 1972 in that small state of Rhode Island. We share two distinct moments, forever etched in history! Thank you, JC & The Boys for the decades of memories also etched in my memory, forever!

This performance really showed how much more talent than most BIG BAND sounds with SAX, truly had. Such humbleness. Loooove this, 4-Life!

Thank You! You gave us classic movies and the soundtrack for ages! Without JC & Beaver Brown Band, we may have missed out on a fantabulous storyline and musicianship with Eddie & The Cruisers. Glad you did it! 😎

Michael Antunes doesn't get enough credit for his great sax abilities. He's the best sax player I've ever heard in rock 'n roll.

Thirty seven years ago and it's still a great tune. Michael Pare did a great job lip synching in the movie, but this is the real deal.

It’s interesting how Eddie and the cruisers is basically a movie based around these guys. Fantastic band that couldn’t get a big record deal cause they said they was too much like Bruce Springsteen and his band. But both bands are very different
@nickmartinez22529 ай бұрын
Soundtrack guys came to Bruce n Landau his manager asking for them to do the Soundtrack of course Springsteen said no they wanted a sound similar to Darkness Springsteen's 4th album he was already working on 1980's masterpiece The River with the E Street Band. Tired of the "ESB Sound" popping up on Meatloaf records and other Heartland Rock bands he referred them to his friend n a "great lil band outta Rhode Island " lol that's how they basically got the gig for 83's Cruiser Soundtrack. JC is still grateful. Both alumni of NJ's historic Stone Pony n Jersey Shore Bar Circuit.

Better than the boss
@mauricepowers80792 жыл бұрын
You have obviously never seen "The Boss" LIVE...I have seen both...and on the same stage back in 79' at Toad's in New Haven and then The Boss live in 81' and 82'...apples and oranges. Cafferty was doing a LOT of Springsteen covers back in the late 70's...Cafferty is Cafferty and Bruce is Bruce...East Coast R&B is the common thread. Each are unique...but to say Cafferty is better than the Boss...no...can't compare the two.
