When Eddie started playing, the saxophone player already knew who he was. I remember in the cabin scene he tells Eddie, A man can hide under another name, but he can't disguise the way he plays.

Actually there is an entire Genre called Retrowave or Synthwave that have that. Most of the songs are inspired by 80s sounds and film scores. John Carpenter gets a lot of credit for the genre. Check out the band Gunship. Look for the song Monster in Paradise. Also Check out the band... The Midnight, look for the song Vampires.

I absolutely LOVE this movie. Being a Montrealer, it was great seeing Montreal in a movie, and being totally in love with Marina Orsini certainly did not hurt. As good as the first movie was, and as great as the music was, it was simply too advanced for the era the movie was set in. In the second movie, the music fit the era much better. As a rock and roll double feature, though, it is impossible to beat. And if you add in Almost Famous Bootleg Cut to wrap up the night, you will have a triple feature that will never be topped. EVER.

I was in this bar in Vancouver a few years ago... waiting to see ACDC play. Man, that was a while back. Anyway, this young guy wandered off to find his way to the stadium. Not familiar with the city, I was getting lost in a scetchy area, and getting a bit anxious. This young, troubled looking homeless type guy comes up to my wife and I, and asked if we were needing help. He was suprisingly polite, and genuine in his concern. He offered to walk and guide us the whole way. Took us down a few scary alleys, but saw our concern, and promised " Nobody will mess with you, if you're with me." We chatted a bit on the way, he was very friendly and honest in admitting his troubles. I couldn't shake the feeling I knew this guy. He said he used to act on t.v. when he younger. Bernie Coulson was his name. My brother and I became big fans of both films when they used to play on the old "Super Channel" on cable back in the day. I introduced the films to many friends over the years, and later to my wife who was with me that day. He guided us safely, and looked so sad when he asked if we could spare anything for his help. Between the two of us, we had about 15 dollars cash to give him. I still wish I could have done more for him. I hope, everytime I hear "On the Darkside" on the radio, that he's been able to get help, and is doing better. Thanks, for your help "Rick Diesel," still have your autograph.

You're full of it. According to IMDB Bernie Coulson worked consistently from 1986 until 2007 and made another movie in 2016. You claim he was a "young man" at the time and since he was born in '65 that would have made him 42 in '07. I wouldn't think someone over 42 living on the streets would look young.

Forget where and when you are. forget what you think you know. What does your ears and your heart tell you? Who does that sound like?
