I watched this game, and had PTSD flashbacks. I had been yelling for the past 3 to 4 years he needed to go. Once he had his falling out with John Robic, it was over for Cal at Kentucky.

Damn straight there! Didn't realize how much he meant until he was gone and you see he was the only reason we had decent offensive schemes during the time he was on staff...if even you could call them that, but Cal was exposed after that and for sure lived up the the "Roll the Ball Out; with athletes to cover up any deficiencies label"

@@duhhherrooo yeah I could be wrong but as the years went on... especially the last 4 or 5 that we were embarrassing ....it seems like Robics name came up in KSR radio convo or fur whatever reason was a mystery as to why he never returned after leave or officially stepped down or retired and think he was even still living in Lexington and that's when I think Robics wife started leaking on Twitter what Cal was being mum about as far as if Robic was coming back ever. The wife was guns a blazin after awhile like a far as they were concerned he wanted to come back at some point to his original position and seemed like Cal was hoping nothing ever got stirred back up and left as he left on his own and didn't want to return.... if that's the case and it did come down 2 Cal being stubborn and maybe havin 2 much pride to admit how much Robbic actually meant to his staff then that's just a pathetic as you can be for all the years he helped Cal in the past as he climbed that ncaa ladder

You credit Theiro as a good shooter. I'll personally be shocked if that's still the narrative by the end of the season. Credit Adou for working his ass off to go from complete non shooter 3 years ago to a guy who can make wide open unguarded threes in November. But when SEC teams start gameplanning him they'll be deciding do we honor this guys shot or do we play off on him and if he hits 2 or 3 who cares cause we've clogged the lane and Boogie cant drive, DJ cant drive, and the big guys cant operate with a hellp defender floating down there.

@theorangeninjagames, fellow BBN citizen here. Your right we did mske the right choice. Look I love what Calipari did for UK, we had a 10 year run of DOMINANCE with him, and WOW it was fun. I am cheering for Coach Cal and I love the Razorbacks as they are the only other fan base that is CRAZY and love their hoops, maybe not as crazy obsessed as we cat fans but still, IU got love for Arkansas and was hoping that a new place would invigerate him and he would be the Cal of old, but wathcing that game unfortunatly saw the same old LAME ass bball and head scratching coaching. "Coach Bryce" you called it, I'm hoping were both wrong about coach Cal, but this doesnt look like change. We will find out when UK coach Pope and Arknasas Cal face each other later in the season, in the beginign of the season I was hoping he would turn Arknasas bbal into a killer program and a moster rivaly would emereg between us in the SEC both fan bases could just love to experience. Now you know what UK fans have felt like the last 5 years. When John robic retired cal lost his entire offensive scheme. Robic called the offensive plays, he taught them, and cal went in a new direction. Without 2 50% 3 point shooters he’s back to the dribble drive without the mind behind it that knows how to call the game and game plan for adjustments.

This team will have games they look great, such as the exhibition v Kansas but they'll also have ones they look completely disjointed & unprepared. Raw talent will keep them in a lot of those but they are going to struggle at times. Doesn't help that Davis hasn't been anywhere close to what he was supposed to be for them this year, perhaps that will change who knows. This team was mostly going to be ours (UK) this year had he not left for Fayetteville, and I have to say, while I like the young men a lot and Cal too, BBN was NOT ready to just have him run it back again - in Lexington anyway. Good luck regardless.

My was frustrating to watch Calipari offense at Kentucky. They will play ok in the SEC. But will struggle against equally strong defenses and teams with experience. Calipari’s system isn’t working anymore because other teams have talent and affective systems.

Just got the record. The offense cal went back to. This stand around and watch one guy drive it. Dribble drive isn't the system they used last year. Calipari had John Welch on the staff who schemed most of the set. Their floppy action and empty corned screens and middle ball screen action. Welch even tried some zoom action but we didn't have anyone who could execute the handoff at times it looked bad so they went away from it. This year's Arkansas team looks like the 2019 and earlier offense more than anything. Last year's offense wasnt even cal . It was Tyler ulis and John Welch. I doubt we ll see Arkansas use the floppy set or the triangle thing they did. They do the weave at the top of the three and dribble drive. Just like Memphis and his earlier UK days.

Calipari feels like he’s stuck in 2010 and thinking he still has prime John Wall and Demarcus Cousins and is just gonna overwhelm people with athleticism. Not a lot of skill, not a lot of 3’s, too much dependence on traditional non-shooting bigs. Straight up outdated and dull.

Coach Cal had some good seasons during his time at Kentucky but he lost his competitive spirit in the last several years. He was a better recruiter for the NBA than he was a college coach. You’re not going to be able to effectively compete in post season tournaments having teams comprised of mainly freshman every year. His post season performances over the last several seasons were dismal at best.

Ark took some bad shots for sure. But much of your analysts is BS. Where is the weak area in a 1-3-1 zone? It’s the baseline. In one if your first clips they attack it on the baseline. You rightly call out Wagner not going that baseline. But at same time you criticize players coming into the lane during another players drive towards the basket as basically useless. It’s basketball 101 that a drive to the lane more than likely produces a shot. Rebounders on the offside are actually nice. It’s stupid to criticize this. And penetration into the zone for a shot inside the paint….esp with a rebounder in the area is great. You showed several clips of this calling it bad basketball. Remove “Coach” from your name if you believe this. Ark has a ways to go. They’ll get better at these things. But even in your own clips many times they’re in the right and you’re in the wrong🤣
