Yeah ya got a cracking you tube channel, I started to collect stamps early last year reviving my childhood hobby which I really enjoying, but struggled to find a decent you tube channel until just recently, so keep going stay safe happy days, 👏😃 I don't collect modern stamps just the ones I remember so 1840 till 1995 , but still like 2 know wot is happening with the modern ones as well , you are so informative that I still watch the modern stuff gud 2 keep up 2 date thankyou & look after urself.

Queen I really like the appearance of the Commemoratives. The photographer of the £1.85 was the Canadian portrait photographer Yousuf Karsh who is probably most famous for his 1942 portrait of Churchill. He first photographed the then Princess Elizabeth in 1943. I don’t know if you have any interest in the stamps of the former Dominion of Newfoundland but probably the first appearance of Princess Elizabeth on a stamp was from Newfoundland. She appeared on the7 cent stamp from the 1932 definitive issue, produced when she was about 5 years old, although the portrait appears younger than that. She next appeared on the 4 cent stamp from the 1938 set of definitives produced for her father King George VI. King George was on the 2 cent, his wife Queen Elizabeth (later the Queen Mother) was on the 3 cent, and Queen Mary was on the 7 cent. Finally she appeared on a 4 cent stamp issued issued on April 21,1947, which was her 21st birthday. Both the Scott Catalog and the Unitrade Specialized Canadian Catalog list this as a Birthday issue, but Waterlow and Sons who produced the stamp list it as a redesign of the 1938 definitive stamp. I greatly enjoy your content.
