I find in your fine analysis a high degree of quality and synthesis. I remember when I was in high school at universal history signature, I read about ancient civilizations, I used to wonder why those ancient societies were able to congregate and carry out great works or wonders that they have persisted over time without changes, unlike today where 150-story buildings or suspension bridges that extend for kilometers are built, however these works will not last more than 100 or 200 years. Later I acquired Vedic knowledge and realized that the golden age is nothing other than the "age of devotion", the complacency of the spirit in knowing the reason why in a manifestation like ours it is not possible to have a free total but partial will, and the knowledge of the dynamics and kinematics of Karma, of the nature and characteristics of The Dharma which among others are aesthetics, permanence, durability and evolution: thus man in his contemplation observes the movements and according to the fractality that occurs in the manifestation, you can analogously find that these cycles occur in each existing singularity and in each monad, said evolution; is presented in an ascending spiral. The difference between common science and hermetic science is precisely the maintaining of the link between the physical and the metaphysical that in no way can be separated, the pre-Socratics and sophists were the true golden age of Greek philosophy, they were believers, devotees, disciplined, and serious: they had the factor that was needed to balance every equation... that, not being able to define it, they called it "arje", a word analogous to the word "Tao", the Holy Spirit. With philosophy, agnosticism was born, that is, the confession of ignorance; the world itself... said R. Wilson: (who in turn paraphrased someone else, without specifying the author) "everything that is, is a metaphor" so those robotic minds are incapable of conceiving infinity. René G. has been one of the authors that has most captivated my attention in recent years. Disappointed by the dominant societies of his time, he decided to become independent to continue his study, ultimately undervalued and little understood. It seems to me that his work is in direct relation and is a continuation of hermetic science as such in the last century.

The conception of the Hindu ages behaving cyclically doesn’t then mean they they’re pointless or without progress. The answer to why the cycle exists is summed up by the statement, on this side of maya there is no answer, and on the other side of maya there is no question.
@saimbhat6243 Жыл бұрын
That is not an answer, it is a complex way to say that you don't have an answer. LOL

You seem to have a misunderstanding regarding the "ascent" model with regard to Islam, Christianity etc. Every tradition maintains the notion of The Fall, a descent. Any idea that claims the ascent of man is necessarily an aberration and is heterodox. In Islam, there are many hadith that explicitly indicate a gradual turn toward chaos. The Hindu conception of The Fall is annunciated in the form of the myth of the battle of the devas and asuras, the gradual solidification (asura) of subtle (Deva) forms. The notion of an Omega point, assuming you used it in a Teillhardian sense, is a degeneration of Christianity, a mere parody more precisely. This may be better explained in the later chapters of the book for you, regarding the counter-tradition. No tradition maintains this progressive, evolutionist "cosmology", which really is just a secularization of Christianity and the misunderstanding of Incarnation in history. Perhaps you should have read the whole book first before embarking on this review. All of this is maintained by Guénon, and this book is not a good introduction to his works.

Hello, John David here explained other intellectuals' theories, not that of Guénon. He does confirm Guénon's theory as opposite. Also it is helpful to have read the crisis of the modern world before the reign of quantity.

Yes I regret the time i wasted. Its gets really cringey when he starts going off on points and ideas that Guenon clearly adress later in the book. Ideas like the forces of counter initiation etc. 12 videos to illustrate the point that one should read the entire text before critiquing it!!! Pure cringe!

What you said about the "pre-determinedness" of your physiology was probably the dumbest thing I've ever heard you say. There is PLENTY you can do to slow the course of aging, like improving your metabolic health. You are totally mistaken to believe the human body is determined to age like it commonly does in modernity. I would expect better from you tbh.
@mongolianqwerty12310 ай бұрын
You can slow the course of aging, sure, but in time you will still decline regardless of what you do. You will die within a roughly 100 year lifespan. If you disagree with this assessment, prove me wrong
