I first had the 48" pallet forks, but those were way to big for the loader. I sold the 48" and purchased a 36" pallet forks from titan.

That's a lot of value there! $400 shipped?!? How can you beat that?! They become real handy when you get a bunch of pallets and have stuff on the pallets that you can easily move around! I have a LogRite wheel arch and it was my best investment... Like you I work alone and with those huge logs you can just straddle the arch over one end, pick it up and then tow the other end to your destination. (If you wanted to keep the log long). I'm still amazed at the price of those forks! 😃👍

I have been looking at these Titan pallet forks for a while. I couldn't believe the price, I seriously thought it was a mistake.

It looks like you had some rollback left when you were trying to lift the big log. A little extension by not having it completely rolled back reduces the lift capacity quite a bit. You can get liquid installed in your tires for ballast. It is better for traction than iron weights if you are using ground engaging implements such as a plow or your bucket. Dealers sell beat juice which is the heaviest. I use a 50/50 water alcohol mix. Blue windshield washer fluid works also. It is safe to -10f. If you are in a climate that gets lower than that you can use the pink.

How high will the forks lift empty?

Ballast yer rear according to the manual. Sharing: My dealer said he's never once sold a ballast box. He recommended load the tires and keep a box blade on the 3 point. He wasn't wrong. And I use the box blade (400 pounds) more than I thought.

Concerns me to see an implement with such horrible welds. Sweat shop in china

There is a reason why it was so cheap. I figure I'd give it a whirl and see if it lasts.

Fill your rear tires with winshield washer fluid. Put a extension on the top of that to keep things from rolling back and crushing the operater,it is way to short.

You did well with those forks at that price. Mine were 800 at my dealer and I had to pick them up! Good deal! 😊👍 I learned a couple things in my short experience. When maxing your lift capacity, or anytime really, try to be positioned in the center of the objects mass. That’s not ALWAYS the center of its length. I have a big rabbit pen that when I was in the dead center, I could not pick the thing up. It didn’t dawn on me that one and was simply heavier than the other and if I move closer to that end I could pick the thing up because I wasn’t making the cylinder on the heavy end work so much harder. Same with those heavy logs. If you have a lot of it’s weight taxing one cylinder over the other, it won’t work. Being on anything but level ground makes for an adventure also. lol. Enjoy and have fun!

You said repeatably that these are made in China, their not. Titan has a plant in Memphis, TN and shows on their website as "Made in America". I am very happy with mine and have found many more uses than just picking up logs with them. My only grip is they could take a little more time on cleaning up the burrs from their welds. Much better value compared to the $950 John Deere quoted me. Now i'm off to find that weight holder you have.......from Titan, lol.

Titan sells forks made in China and USA. The weight bracket is made in Wisconsin by heavy hitch
