Just an overview on how I did my linear actuator conversion on my skid steer attachment plate on my 4066R. Happy to answer questions if you have them. Please leave a comment below.

Back in November a gentleman stopped by and made me an offer I could not refuse on the bucket which left me without much of a project. This past weekend a friend asked to purchase that 140. It all boils down to time. It’s hard to turn down good offers on machines when it’s a project at the end of the list. Things like that happen. As much as I would have liked to finish it.... circumstances dictated differently.

Did you order the SSQA from John Deere when you ordered the tractor? I didn’t see that as a build option for the 4000 series tractors ?

Yes it was an option when I order the loader. You might need to speak with a sales rep. I think it was a $700 option when I bought might with a “refund” of $400 for the quick attach system, so total cost of an extra $300. Not sure how much it would be now.

Nice work! I did one on my TYM 754. I use it every day. The only problem I’ve ever had is wires fatigue breaking between loader frame and actuator. I added a heavy telescoping “stabilizer” above the actuator to protect it from snow/rocks. Here is a link to my wife’s video of it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4rccn-qjJaDqMk
