John Deere 4430 Repair | Main Pump Removal

The 4430 has had hydraulic issues ever since we got it last spring, we are finally digging into it to see if we can find the issue.

Excuse me, what model of pistons do you use for the pump?

Was the hydraulic pump the whole problem or was it the spring you were talking about. Our 4430 is doing the exact same thing but we haven't taken off the pump yet.

It's the check valve spring, if the tractor has the original pump it should have one spring if it has a high capacity pump it should have two. I would check the check valve first. Ours is still having problems with the hydraulics so we're gonna put a new pump in it. It chatters bad but its better than it was.
