That cat really makes these videos even more entertaining than they already are.

Good test of 2x v 4x. Well explained. My only question is about the seat on the X748. Will that seat go back to the 1445 in a future.video?

Thanks! Haha, one day!

@mmrbeef - Great content! I'll be picking up a 45 loader next weekend but its missing the frame mount hardware.. I heard you had some made for the ultimate series, any left or making more? Thanks!

Thanks for the video ... How about how it pushes into a pile of mulch/gravel/dirt or how it digs in 2 vs 4
@mmrbeef3 жыл бұрын
That is a great idea. I will have to work on a way to standardize it.

Question for you, Is the front axle an open axle or is it locked together. Great video BTW!
@mmrbeef3 жыл бұрын
These are open axles.

@ 5 mins, when reversing up the drive, if you had the diff lock on before coming to a stop it would have made it. You engaged the diff lock after stopping.

How do I raise the pressure in the transaxle??
@Freedomlawnservice873 жыл бұрын
Are you using the loader relief valve on transmission? Thanks
@mmrbeef3 жыл бұрын
Yes, you need the relief valve to prevent over pressure to the transaxle. Without it the loader could cause excess pressure to the transaxle.

I think the 18x8.5x10 Trac Chiefs are 4 ply.

You may be correct. I can’t remember what they are and looking on the tire I need to wash it to find that label! I do know the guys at the tire store threatened me to never bring a set of those tires in again to have mounted.

5:30...angle of attack aoa is everything, your rear ballast wasn't enough, you are on the low end barely keeping the tail down, the loader with 1,000#'s vs your let guesstimate 600# with the front end on the front axel your lever machine plane of gravity is over your front wheels at this peak ramp angle and you hit the differential lock too late.. that's fine, just know how physics works, get a plank that covers same distance put a 4x4 where your rear tire marks are and make that the same distance with the plank, and place 30% of your counter weight on the back and and place 60# of your weight where your loader weight is, and then stand on the plank and feel where the load balance is by shifting your leg positions are or standing position. grasp this bit of physics first and you will have a better idea how not to kill yourself if you go down a decline or up an incline machine (ramp is a machine this is taught in 6th grade to 9th grade about lever action screws are the same machine with a bit more evolved principle as there is multiple planes of contact). loaders really should have an open ended hollow tube for the armature mount points so that you can insert simple out riggers to stop tip overs in injurious and lethal conditions

I think you missed the point of the video. If the point had been exact weight distribution and other pointed points about physics it would have been a very different video. The title includes "4wd vs 2wd". The point was traction, ballast, and how 4wd and 2wd. To 95% of the viewers of this video they care about the performance of 4wd vs 2wd. Interesting thought about the tubes on a loader. Seems like a lot of liability for a manufacture to absorb, what happens when those hollow tube collapse in a rollover because they were previously damaged by an impact with something on a job site? Of course the most concerning thing is, why would you operate a machine in lethal conditions?
