That is how I like to plant corn. A beautiful tractor and planter. Planting corn with ease and stress free. Thanks for showing.

Were those row markers on the planter an aftermarket addition? I noticed that they were blue, not green.
@genemeyer32256 жыл бұрын
I’m 99percent sure that my old planter .. when I had it the and heavy JD markers were worn out and had a lot welding and repairs .. so got my hands on some Kinze Markers and mounted them .. they worked great!

It's been almost 30 years since Dad's passing, but that planter looks vaguely like his. I need to dig through old photos one of these days at Mom's house. Can this thing fold up?

the first "big" tractor the farm had in the 70's with a hardcab
@thegreenerthemeaner5 жыл бұрын
Sounds like about 1200 rpm. No huge clouds of smoke, which they were quite capable of with a crack of the throttle. I would guess the planter fully loaded would be 11,000 lbs. Some people say they were gutless and without torque. Hardly.
@bigtractorpower5 жыл бұрын
This 4620 was doing a nice job. It’s not to common here in WKY to see an open station tractor planting corn these days. It was neat to see this one at work.

I think that one was the 4520 that had problems.

What's the difference between field and factory weight?
@bigtractorpower6 жыл бұрын
Field weight is adding suit case weights to the front and weights to the wheels. It all depends on the job your doing. If your plowing with a John Deere 4620 you might weight it up all the way to 18,000 pounds if your baling hay you might keep the tractor around 12,000 pounds.
@mackowen93376 жыл бұрын
