That thing is the sunday driver of the tractor world!!! Lol!!! I have an '06 Montana t7074 has a 2.9l 3-cyl John deere engine with 770hrs. on the machine. I just picked it up recently and it is awesome, a very strong tractor with about every option you can get, including a built in fridge! The other thing I noticed is it the (montana t7074/tym700) have about the heaviest lift capability on both ends that you can get in a tractor this size. P.S. NO EMISSIONS S**T to deal with!!! Thanks for the videos!!!!

Thank you for the video!! I am in Wilmington, NC and currently have a 4066R. It overheats all summer long using a 2084 bush hog. I have tired everything and agree that the cooling system is too small. I am going to order a new 2023 5105M (They stopped making the R Series for 2023). We have soft soil down here so I was going to order the slightly larger tires - 480/70r34. Are there any options you wished you had ordered?

I have a John Deere 4720 and a 4600 and am thinking about going to an R or M 5 series. In Michigan my 4720 seems to run a bit hot in the summer time.
@firstgenfarmer98092 жыл бұрын
Those compact tractors run hot. I’m convinced the cooling system is undersized. My 5075M temperature never moves above the normal operating temperature even on a 95 degree day when I’ve been bushhogging for hours. I really like my tractor. It’s a pleasure to operate. More comfortable and the hvac works much better than my 4052r.

Hey man, love the tractor! I built one and it just came in, but, the tires on mine are ridiculously small and look horrid. What size front and rear tires are on your machine? I want to have mine changed out before I even pick it up. Please let me know as soon as you can. Thanks man! Have a good one!!

How much land are you managing with this tractor? I’m looking at a buying a 2010 pre-emission 5075m for our horse operation. I think it’s probably more tractor than we need but figure we could pick up small jobs helping neighbors bushhog.

So, I am going to get another 75 horse tractor next year. Currently I have a 10 year old 5075E no cab, 2WD and realized I made a mistake. You literally cannot drive with a round bale on your spike unless it is dry ground. Backing up is impossible as my tires just spin and yes, they have antifreeze in them. Turning 60 and want to get a good tractor to get me through retirement. I could get a 5075E 4WD cab also but it looks to me the M series are well worth the extra $.

The 5075M is a great machine! That being said my feeling is other machines are also great. For me it comes down to the dealership support as a huge deciding factor. I'm fortunate that my local Deere dealership is great.

How much does the tractor weigh in that set up? I’m torn between a 4 series and 5 series only because of transportation issues, I have a 15k lb gooseneck trailer with about 11,000 lb of capability and have no intention going larger on the trailer to avoid a cdl and all that

What is the difference between the 5075e and the 5075m ? I have a 1025r it is perfect for my garden tilling and planting sweet corn I just need a bigger tractor for other jobs
@firstgenfarmer98093 жыл бұрын
There are a lot of variables in your question. In terms of difference, you get a larger frame, better hydraulic flow (24gpm vs 17gmp), 16/16 power reverser trans, larger front wheels and many other bells and whistles. I originally had a 5065E on order and I'm sure I would have been fine with that set up and would have liked it. The dealer had my 5075M on the lot and there was a 90 day lead time when I ordered. Honestly, that played a part in my decision. I believe there was about a $20k difference from the 5065E to the 5075M. I think I had them configured about the same. Hope this helps and thanks for watching the channel. I believe the M weighs about 2k more than the E.

@@firstgenfarmer9809 thanks for the information I'm learning the 5075m has alot of the same features as the big tractors I research my 1025r for several months before buying it and when I went to the dealer I ended up knowing the tractor better than he did the only problem I had with the 1025r was the loader was not level on the tractor I had it on level cement and tires were aired the same and when I set the loader down 1 side was not on the floor without the bucket on it ended up having a machine shop 150 thousands out of the top of the mount holes to get it level and in all the videos I watch of moving snow they were all off one side of the bucket would hit the cement before the other

So does the 5075m still use a dpf? I know the 3 cylinders in the E series only use a DOC and DEF, and the 5075e and under only uses the DOC. No regens and no DEF, which is huge in my book! Just curious if the 5M’s are the same way?
